Legendary Year

1986 was a great castle year. Sets like Black Falcon's Fortress, Guarded Inn, and Armor Shop were released. Check out these sets to see the great designs and rare pieces like the famous black sword.

Thriller Night
Anthony 28 X 03

Darkness falls across the land
The midnite hour is close at hand
Creatures crawl in search of blood
To terrorize y'awl's neighborhood

And whosoever shall be found
Without the soul for getting down
Must stand and face the hounds of hell
And rot inside a corpse's shell

The foulest stench is in the air
The funk of forty thousand years
And grizzly ghouls from every tomb
Are closing in to seal your doom

And though you fight to stay alive
Your body starts to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
The evil of the thriller

Lyrics from Michael Jackon's 'Thriller'

Little Brother
Ben E. 26 X 03

Dude, where's my MOC?
Anthony 19 X 03

Here are some more MOCs added to our creations page, as well as a new story added to the story page! After all, it'd be just silly to add the story to the MOC page, or MOCs to the story page. And especially silly to add a set to the Contacts page. I mean, come on. Yeah... Something's wrong with me, moving on.

Dean Hennen sews a new yarn with his Tailor's Shop MOC, while Kai Gerkins shores up his defenses with the Keep of the White Lion's Castle. Nick Oranzi brings the hizzle fo shizzle with his story 'The Four.'

That is all.

Happy One Month Anniversary Classic-Castle.com!
Anthony 15 X 03

As I write this, Classic-Castle.com has over 10,000 hits to the website, 79 members and 538 posts in the forum. All this in only one month!

On behalf of the rest of the Classic-Castle.com staff, I'd like to thank all of our visitors for making this website what it has become in such a short time. After all, this website is about the community, and we hope to keep bringing the community all the resources we can for many years to come.

There be MOCs here!
Anthony 14 X 03

They're both MOCs that already on this website, but they're just so cool that they need to be recognized again. Ok... no... they're MOCs that now are on their owner's Creations Pages. Well, they ARE cool, but that's not why I'm posting this. Well, yeah, that is the reason, but that's not to say they're cooler than anyone elses MOC. But that's not to say they're not good in their own right. Well... umm... but... crud.

In any case, Juan Cuello has added a new MOC to his creation's page, Santiago's Gate, and Dean Hennon has updated his page with his Odd Items Shop. Check em out.

New Creation, History Update, and Our First City Display!
Lenny 13 X 03

Dean Hennon brings us his Odd Items Shop and I've re-vamped the history article with links to various, related issues. Manfred Moolhuysen was also kind enough to point out that I had misspelled his name. If any one notices I misspelled their name, or forgot their contribution, please don't hesitate to send an email along to me an I'll get right on it. Lastly, TexLUG put together the first CCC Display this past weekend!

CCC Wall Instructions
Lenny 12 X 03

First, Juan Cuello has added more pictures to his Santiago's Gate MOC. This is a very beautiful piece of work, and I highly recommend everyone check it out! Also, I've adopted Troy's Wall Design as the official CCC Wall Design because of it's simplicity, cost effectiveness, and inner beauty. I've added instructions here and will be adding the instructions to the BI Portal shortly.

Harry Parter
Anthony 02 X 03

While it is arguable whether or not the Harry Potter line could be considered as part of the LEGO Castle line, it is certainly hard to argue against it being a source of great parts.

So what parts for Castle do you find were important results of the Harry Potter line? How about other themes, like Star Wars, Pirates, etc.? Any important Castle parts in them?

Feel free reply! This post will be added to an upcoming article on where to find great Castle Parts out of non-castle sets.
