"A party of adventurers - a warrior, a sorceress and an engineer - in their star-ship has traveled to the legendary Dimension door hub, from which any one of three kinds of dimension doors in the universe can be accessed. However, it is protected by an ancient black dragon, to make sure no such party would ever succeed. It seems to be a very tidy dragon too, seeing how there are not many bones laying around the platform."
Pippo Zane reproduces the final scene from the 1985 movie Ladyhawke. While he's come up with figs for all of the movie's characters, and shows us the climactic duel, the real star of the show here is that amazingly intricate cathedral interior. Pore over all of the details, along with is other MOCs, in his Flickr stream and then come discuss it in our forum.

When this was posted on Flickr it sparked others to try their hands at very small scale micro castles, resulting in a micro-storm that has been dubbed the Stupidly Small Castle Challenge. All of Takata's MOCs can be found on his Flickr and MOCpage links. Discuss Castle Geartop, and other tiny places, in our forum.

You may remember that a couple of years ago Nuju Metru built his own proposed sets for the three volumes of the Lord of the Rings. He's back, with a fantasy line of his own design, Dragon Lands, with a series of hypothetical sets at different price points. Seriously, LEGO, hire this guy as a set designer. Check out Dragon Lands along with Nuju Metru's other MOCs on Flickr and Brickshelf and then discuss them in our forum.
