A Daring Escape!
Part 1: While three of the king's guards were on patrol, out in the forest green, they came upon a corrupt youth that had slain one of the King's prized Royal Deer. Observing this heinous and obvious offense, the guards promptly seized him and dragged him forthwith off to the castle.
Part 2: The very moment they reached the castle, they erected a gallows at the tip-top of a tower. Disregarding the lad's pleas for mercy, they tightened the noose and shoved him off the wall. To their great astonishment, he slashed out a concealed dagger and sliced the rope in two. Screaming and waving his arms, he fell four stories into the moat below. A deafening "SPLASH" echoed off the castle walls.
Part 3: After the guards hoisted the poor wretch out of the fishy water, they brought him before the king, who had made inquiries as to the source of all the tremendous ruckus. After hearing the lad's tale, told by both him and the guards, the King, so impressed by his death-defying bid for freedom, gave him a full pardon and made him a game warden of the forest!

Firefly Forest
As Amos gazed through his telescope up into the heavens at the glittering stars, he also noticed some other glimmering lights in his lens. As he looked up, the air around him came alive with thousands of flickering fireflies. Just below Amos's treehouse, the rest of the forester village lies hidden deep in the green wood. The merry campfire with the lads roasting marshmallows, the rangers returning from their evening hike, and the happy camaraderie all made a pleasant atmosphere.

Flörik Yhonisson
Flörik Yhonisson
A young woodland ranger, he hunts and traps the wild game for an honest living, and is renowned for his impressive skill. Wealthy men pay him handsomely for safe guidance across the great and dangerous black forests, for he knows all secret (and safer) trails. Clad in forest green, he carries an imposing War Scythe, and a handy short sword... often used for carving and skinning. His homemade hood and cape protect him from the harsh environment in which he abides. He is truly a master of the forest primeval.

Mardoff Wolfgang the Northman
Living within the vast, frozen, rocky woodlands, Mardoff Wolfgang the Northman is unfazed by frost or foe alike. Armed to the teeth with his iron dagger and great bow of white oak, inlaid with ebony wood. No one knows where he obtained this masterpiece of a weapon, but it is his most prized possession. His tall pointed hood and his heavy cloak make him impervious to the deep and damp cold. This hunter greatly enjoys the thrill of the chase, even in the company of renegades and bandits.

Stony Gulch
Imagine the surprise and dismay of these poor stone masons upon reaching the terrible sight of Stony Gulch!
On their way to deliver a load of fine hand-cut granite blocks to a castle being built by an extremely wealthy, powerful, and rather crabby customer only fifty miles to the north.
They had purchased a map from a cartographer of rather seedy appearance to save a few coins, for his prices were good and his information guaranteed to be accurate. How misplaced, indeed, was their trust in him! For upon coming 'round a bend, they beheld the forbidding sight of a steep, rocky ravine bridged only by the merest slip of the remains of a rope and board bridge that would scarcely bear a mouse, not to mention two tons of granite being hauled by sturdy oxen!
Now their arrival will be unavoidably delayed, and their only hope is that their irascible client will have a grain of patience and understanding.

The Lands of Classic Castle
Lands of Classic Castle is a MOC-based fantasy world called Roawia which is populated by the members of the Classic Castle forums. The world is broken up into four factions: Garheim in the arctic north, Lenfald in the forests of the northwest, Loreos in the central desert and grasslands, and the Outlaws who are scattered throughout the land, but are more concentrated in the southern mountains and swamps.

The Wilds of Garheim
As Sir Angus the Bold and a few of his Highlander Band trudged through the snow, the sound of their crunching footsteps was drowned out by the gurglings of a creek lying just below a small cliff. As they drew near it, Sir Angus paused and soon his men did likewise...just standing still, soaking in the glorious atmosphere of this wintry wilderness that they called home. Still in the peaceful ambience, Jack the Herald quietly took out his bagpipe and masterfully played an ancient Garheim hymn. The majestic notes echoing across the valley, it sent a thrill through the Northmen that few men ever experienced.
