Colossal Castle Contest XXI - Winning Entries

The Colossal Castle Contest 21 is complete and we are ready to announce the winning entries! Thank you to everyone who entered the contest - it was a pleasure viewing your terrific creations.

Congratulations to all of the winners in the Colossal Castle Contest XXI! Please contact Bluesecrets on the forum if you have won a category so we can ship out the prizes! You must arrange shipment within 30 days (February 17, 2024).

Judging Criteria

Submission were evaluated on a twenty-point scale.

The committee grades for each submission were be averaged for each creation's final score. The highest score in each category won that category's prize. The Master Builder was determined by total points from their top score in each category; with a submission in all six (6) categories.

Whether they are tears of joy or tears of sorrow, build a castle that has a prominent water feature. Prominent means important, which means your water feature needs to be important to the castle, whether that is in terms of function, protection, or whatever other reason. The importance of water for your castle will impact judging. There are no size restrictions or requirements for this category.

Village

Build a medieval village with at least 3 non-military buildings. Your creation must include landscape and other details to bring the village to life besides the three structures. There are no size restrictions for this category.

Truly Classic Castle

Build a castle MOC out of parts that existed in or before 1995. The only exception is color; you may use the new grey and reddish brown colors. However all parts released after 1995 are not permitted: cheese slopes and profile bricks for example. This category has a 32 x 32 size limit.

Build a religious building from the medieval era. Think cathedrals, churches, abbeys, monasteries, mosques, or any other religious building that fits the time frame. This can be an interior or an exterior focused scene. There are no size restrictions for this category.
