Re: (LDraw) Bluebonnet Station

Thanks all, I appreciate it. The twist in the plates actually happened a bit naturally, and I didn't bother correcting it cause I liked the look. To be honest its easier to let the twist happen than try to make sure there isn't one. I think this one would bend the "MISC" a bit much, wouldn...

(LDraw) Bluebonnet Station

Those of you who follow me on Flickr have more than likely already seen this. A few weeks ago I decided to create a station to use up spare medium blue 1x2 plates I picked up off the LEGO Store Pick A Brick wall. What started out being an idea of using up scrap parts became a very involved, relative...

(WIP) Old MocFiller's Storehouse

Texas Brick Railroad has a series of MOCs that were originally built as background filler - which we named "Old MocFiller's Farm". But it's proven to be much better than expected, and we're currently working to expand it and improve it. So as part of that effort, I began work on "Old ...

The Rock Cut

Bruce convinced me to post something here once in a while, so here is an entry of my recent builds: The Rock Cut https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8789/17142119985_1bc2796e2a.jpg NewBraunfels-April-2015_52 by Tony Sava , on Flickr It utilizes new 3rd party train track from ME Models, as well as my rock-...

I have not returned

Yes, I'm still alive. It's been a long time since I posted here, and actually only came as a favor to a friend. But curiosity got the better of me and I began poking my head around the different forums a bit. I'm happy to see Classic-Castle is in fine hands. A big "Thank You" to the Admins...

Re: Brickworld Chicago 2015 (Castle AFOLs & Events)

I will be attending Brickworld 2015. Last year there was quite the castle presence, and I'm sorry I wasn't able to participate, they even invited me to do so. I was quite busy.

Re: Welcome to our new admins - Blue and Dave

Aha, now I recognize you from the past! Looks like you've taken up multiple personalities as a pass-time. Did the Admins know this before they invited you? Oh, and power grabs on the first day are not quite kosher. The Admins know all and see all. The Dave has ancient celestial powers with which yo...

Re: Saving the Kingdom of Ikros

The website is actually still on the Classic-Castle server somewhere, I (and Troy) purposely let the domain expire. I've asked Troy to tell the server to point Ikros.Classic-Castle.com to it, but he hasn't had time recently.

Re: Welcome to the Piney Woods

I don't know how 46 people can look at this without commenting, but I think everything here looks great. I especially like how you used cheese wedges to give a rounded look to the front of #201 and some other engines. However, I have never built trains and don't really know how involved it is, so I...
