I know I've been disappointed with the castle sets because they don't contain more plain bricks for building more extensive walls. I'd still like to get this set before it disappears, but it's just so dang expensive!

Just speculation here... but I imagine the fact that it isn't available for a good month and more yet has something to do with it. For all we know, they backordered the whole expected stock already, or demand was more than anticipated, or... something. It'll be back. Bet you five 2x4s and a headlig...

As a brand new lego fan who's only been buying sets for a few months, I'd be glad to see *any* Lego castle sets available, bley and redesigned or not.
