Thanks thanks thanks thanks guys. It was great fun to do this layout. It was the first time i took part in such an event. And it was amazing, guyz. oh, and that church is mine. :D I also added a knight, on a motorbike, as a joke. but i can't find him at this pictures. greetz, Thomas oh, and that gre...

It reminds me of this set: battering ram

A wall with tower and gate, an attack-tower. the basics are quite the same. just the looks are totally different.

I thought this discussion was about peasants, and not about too many pitchforks

Anyway, a peasant-line would be great. That would make the medieval-scene complete: A castle, a farm/peasant village, and sherwood-forest.

but i don't think TLC will ever create a peasant-line.

ERR... Those first pic's are of Royal Knights, not crusaders. Just correcting friendly. My message is a little confusing. :) What I meant to say is that the "crusaders" were called "Leeuwenhart ridders" in dutch. When the Royal Knights appeared they were also called "leeuwe...

In dutch they were also called "Leeuwenhart ridders" which means Lionheart knights. http://library.brickshelf.com/scans/catalogs/1992/c92nl/c92nl-23.html But they were also called lionheart knights. Well, in dutch they were http://library.brickshelf.com/scans/catalogs/1995/c95nl/c95nl-41.h...

My fav knight is the Black Knight with the yellow plumes from the 6086. Great armour and the horse-barding is great too. My second is the Black Knight from 6009.

This is a funny set. I don't think it was ever released in the Netherlands. Though, when you compare this design with the sets of the same year you must admit it's not one of the best. I find the dragonhead a little weird as well as the oars. Still it is a very nice and usefull set. and the two knig...

Well, it's hard to pick just one, because all of those sets are great. But let's look at this from the point of view of TLC. The Guarded Inn will probably disapair, so the next legend will be about the same size. Above that it should fit in the current assortment of castle-sets. Then you can skip th...

This is a great set. First there are those very rare parts. Very nice to have :) Second, most of those things can easliy be made from ordinary bricks. Look at those horses! They Are great! And still there is not a single special part in it! And the same for the tent.

This set is really great! I don't understand why this set wasn't released in Europe. It would have been a succes. And then i wouldn't wonder where the heck that baseplate came from which i saw in the 260 ideabook. Anyway. Great set, great scene, great minifigs. I would love to get this one, but they...

I like this set for two reasons: 1 I love minifigs, 2 It's very rare.

I don't really need to say why this set is great, do I.

Oh, and by the way, i love those classic helmets :)

That barbie blue knight is far the worst. I don't like those very colored knights anyway, but there might be ways to use them. The purple one: purple wizhard in battle? The green one: forestmen-knight? You could mix the blue and the red knight for a better color-scheme. Onely the black one is nice. ...

Oh yes :D I really like this set! This is one of my early castlesets, i got it for my 10th birthday orso. I relly like the shape of this cave, and the many doors and ways to open it. It's not as rectangular as an castle. And there are six(!) forestmen , including the unique black forestman. Two year...
