Um, you do know what a pimp is, right? i can't say for sure if this is how he meant it, but pimp is often used to imply someone has a great deal skill/style/game/general smoothness. the comic books and stuff always seemed to portray jayko as the most skillful of the knights, but in my mind it was a...

i suppose this is as good a place to say it as any: the play armor and weapons that lego has been coming out with (this, the viking helmet, shield, and sword and various kk2 themed items, including helmets, swords and shields) are really, really well done. regardless of what you think of the colors ...

I give the set a 8 of 10 because you can always use more dragons. quoted for truth. this is not a set i'd want, really, beause i'd rather spend my money on a castle, but i rather like the dragon masters as figs and as an idea for a line. the set itself does what it sets out to do well, although it'...

this boat really works for me. it's got a sleek look to it, and while the dragon wing sails didn't suit my fancy at first (it seemed to me that lego was simply gypping me out of sails), they've quite grown on me. it's not too much of a stretch of the imagination that these guys have dragons as part ...

OK, I don’t find a use for frowning Basil faces and onetoothed Willa faces, i can't really imagine a better take on your classic fairy tale witch, and she makes for fine ugly hag types of all varieties (medusa, for example, and try creating macbeth vignettes without her). as jojo notes, the set des...

being a dragon obsessed kid, i was always dying for more of these sets (i had one dragon and two dragon master figs i got at a random garage sale with no set) so i could amass some sort of faction. i'm sure as a kid i would have been able to overlook most of the set design flaws and all of their sil...

that's an odd bonus to throw in, jojo. what would you even do with that many flags? i like this set a lot. there are enough pieces to make useful things out of, although it does tend toward bigger pieces (my least favorite aspect of it are those tower pieces without studs in them, making them essent...

thanks kaminoan, i'm definately considering seeing if i can pick some of that paint up. the fig still looks great, too (as does your ghost rider). although, to a certain extent, i think i like leonidas better without the helmet and armor (although you need that if you want it to look much like the m...

quick question about the paint kit you found: the painted hair looks as smooth as all get out - how's it look in real life? have you used this paint on other pieces (armor, torso, et cetera), and if so, how did those turn out? from the pictures it looks among the best and most natural paint i've see...

I used Tamiya paint for it. It's a VERY good brand of Japanese oil-based paint. It's mostly intended for plastic model kits, but it works very well on these parts. You should be able to find it at most model shops, and, if not, online. thanks for the info. are you happy with the result, overall? it...
