Everytime I see this sort of theme there is a moment of "Wow I could totally stock up on princesses, civilians and cool little pieces!
Then I take a closer look at the box and feel disappointed. Ah well.

Agreed... the small anime fan in me wants to like this idea, but I'm still struggling. Still, it's easier in all gray. I like the skull door.Wilfred of Ivanhoe wrote:I like this much better than the set.

I got the one set, Jestros evil mobile - I like this set. I also like infernox Captures The Queen. The Ultimate Lavaria and Ultimate Beastmaster look pretty awesome too... if not a bit cartoony :( I really like the lava army figs... they will be bought in mass quantities and made into some sort of g...

I pop in quite a bit, but I have to admit that I started to go a bit quiet after awhile for a few reasons... hmm... I guess if I had to put it in bullets I'd say something along the lines of... 1 - I'm not a big MOC builder, so after a few years, I just ran out of things to say about all the differe...

Re: Using Lego to illustrate a printed book...?
Many thanks Bruce! I'm sorry I didn't see your reply sooner, but the information you gave is perfect and hits the spot. BTW, if you are going to publish such a book, I would try to do it through a publisher that has a proven AFOL track record - i.e. NoStarch or Skyhorse (there are some others based ...

Using Lego to illustrate a printed book...?
I've written a few books in my day, but never a book using Lego pictures as the illustrations... do you think there would be any legal mumbo-jumbo to face if I did that? I know the "Brick Bible" (https://squareup.com/market/thebrickbible/the-brick-bible-the-complete-set-autographed-copy) u...

Re: MOC - Morisledge Cottage
I love it! The roof is very well done and the patchy look of the walls as well as the roof looks really good. Couldn't say it better myself! The roof alone had me staring in awe for a few minutes! I love this MOC! Would definitely pay a pretty penny for this if it was on the shelves. Very original ...

This is REALLY good...! It looks like LEGO, but it also doesn't look like LEGO... I love it! Really good scaling and modeling. Excellent choice/use of pieces!

Agree - it's a cool pic Like the little blurb below it as well.
Editing out the white "glow" around your figs can take awhile/be a bit tricky, but you'll get it

Re: Your Favorite Castle Set Ever!
I want to agree with almost anything you say Str0ngbad simply because of you cool name and even cooler user pic (love HR!), but with that all said, I'll have to default to my old favorite, the King's Castle. First Lego set I ever got. Horribly complex for me at the time, but forever ingrained in my ...
