Re: Minifigure Collection (TRU Exclusives)
Do I think they are terrible? No. Are they worth me spending $75 on Lego at TRU to get even one of them? No. Definitely not. I'll spend my lego budget at Shop@Home to get double VIP, free shipping, and at the end of October, get the first part of the holiday giveaways. Thank you very much. 8)

Re: LEGO Friends line
Personally, We (the wife and I) love the new line, but aren't all that thrilled about the decision lego made to make the figures like the polly pocket figures. I do have a good place for Stephanie though. The wife picked up "Stephanie's outdoor barbeque" set and today I put Stephanie in th...

Re: Archaeology in a Grab Bag
I find that the Lego Stores in Toronto don't stock the grab bags on the shelf. If you ask a sales associate, they will bring a couple of bags out.
Most of the ones that I've got are mostly filled with pick-a-brick.

Re: Christmas Hauls
The only lego I got from my wife was 3 collectible minifigs in my stocking.
If there is any consolation, I did buy over $200 in orders from Shop@Home, plus bought a couple other things from the Lego Store (Holiday Post Office
and the Starwars Advent Calendar) before Christmas.

Re: LEGO Digital Designer-a tool to rebuild classics?
Since this thread was "revived" from 2008, just wanted to post that while LDD is a good tool to "virtually" rebuild classics, the DBM feature is being retired and you wont be able to "buy" the physical models unless you order them through online Pick-a-brick or from Bri...

Re: Bricktober
Just a follow-up to this thread. We went to ToysRUs tonight and found a bin of the "left-over" Bricktober magnets at the entrance of the store for $4.00. I am little disappointed because last year my wife got them for free, but at least I didn't have to spend over $30.00 to get each one. :...

Re: LEGO CUUSOO
If you have been watching the cuusoo site recently, it was "invaded" by Minecraft fans who are pushing for a lego theme. I think they have already amassed over 4000 supporters, have caused the site to crash and "encouraged" Lego to update its cuusoo servers and pause to already s...

Re: An Email to Lego
Let's hope that the Black Falcon is a clue of what's to come in the Kingdoms line. That speculation aside, what are things we know or have seen... 1) Kingdoms is considered a core line, and will hopefully continue in the future. 2) We have seen recently that Lego has slashed underperforming lines / ...

Re: Official Batcave picture
I thought I'd just take a peek at a couple of the old batman sets... when I saw how much these were going on BL, I was amazed. I know Starwars lego is fetching a good buck, and so are select (9v) trains. I didn't think that Batman stuff is going that high.... ouch. I'm not to terribly interested in ...
