Lego Prototypes (castle)

Something that always pricked my interest was the prototypes that lego had. I've seen a few myself. Some of them are quite good like the medieval town and a couple of castles.

Anyways, are there any others about?

A blue baseplate

Dear Lego

Reminded from a earlier post,

could lego please produce blue blue baseplates again? It would be a could time as the pirates theme has begun and it would be a good change from the green baseplate.

separate your militia into two groups. One group is the semi professional infantry hailing from Flanders or Italy, they typically wore a brigadine, jakke or a layer of mail and had "decent" equipment. The other groups, well give them a shovel or pitchfork, a a typical peasant's torso.

Total war is fun, but it doesn't accurately repesent warfare. The game doesn't repesent the effects of weather full, no ranged fire in rain for example. Most forces were placed in regiments but swordsmen did fight as a legion but as a individual solider. Supplies weren't factored in and most of all ...

whoa, this is supposed to be a happy time, why are all these sharp comments popping up? I think Dan had different meaning to his words than what is perceived.

Besides the debate, does anyone know why it is being released in January, as most sets are released in the summer.
