I want the yellow castle cause it featured in Idea Book 6000. I grew up with this and it has huge nostalgia value.

Plus the old knight helmets are pretty funky too.

Yeah, I've learned a few things out of this thread. Anyone know about any other common peices for castle that come in weird colours from other themes?

I know the new exo force tower has yellow katanas and have seen grey barrels.

Return of the Grey Chest

Was looking over the 2007 Aqua Raiders sets and noticed that 7771 Angler Ambush appears to have a grey chest.

Okay it's going to be the new split backed design, but it's nice to see this part become more avaliable.

I dig the Black Falcons (thus my avatar). I also like the Vikings though a good bit too. Am I the only person here who thinks that Dark Forest owns Forestmen? With you on that, Black Knights are pretty sweet too. As for the Forestmen/Dark Forest, I pretty much consider them the same theme, so it do...

The forestmen are one of my favourite factions.

A little off topic, but those that enjoy Robin Hood should check out the new BBC series.

I think the interesting thing is the way the top and bottom models have been designed to fit into the classic castle technic stud system. I think they're the right height as well. You can buy three of these and add to your walls.

Just out of interest, has any one had some success with changing the appearence of the KKII figures? I've been giving them different helmets/arms/legs and they seem to come out a lot better. Makes them a little more generic as well. I've found that Danju looks pretty good with black arms/legs set up...

One of my earliest sets, so I have a soft spot for it.

Very few ballista exist in Lego so I'd have to give it 8/10 just for that.

Excellent classic figs and capes and nice selection of weapons.

I don't see why the jelly bean knights can't show up for cameos in the new line, maybe with a slightly improved look. Lions & Falcons were showing up years after their core runs ended.

To be honest all the sets are classics.

The two that stand out the most are the Knight's Challenge for the colour and great parts and Camoflagued Outpost for representing the essence of the ever popular Forestmen.

So that got my vote.
