I found some odd old pieces

I picked up a small container of Lego bricks yesterday at my local Goodwill. It had around 50 pieces, mostly basic bricks (because who can ever have too many basic bricks?) and a couple common slopes. There were a few pieces I've never seen before, so I thought I'd share them. http://s271.photobucke...

Re: viking legends?

That's a shame, because I'd LOVE to have more of 7015 for parts.

Re: Lego Kingdoms at 2010 Toy Fair

Well hello there, can I take you all home with me? (Talking to the new sets, not you guys ;)) These are great! I love the return to human vs. human fractions. Let us decide who the bad guys are, instead of the obvious man vs. undead/orc/troll. I love the new heraldry as well, looks accurate to actua...

Seatron, a Brickshelf find

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=416033 This is interesting. Looks to be a Space/Aquazone hybrid. Was this really a scrapped offical theme? Things of note: - Those big trans-red windows, according to Peeron they've never been made in that color. http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/2409 - ...

Re: Lego Light Switch

When I have kids, I'm totally going to do this for their room. I've got a couple green 8x16 plates in less-than-great condition, too.
Good job.

Re: Jelly Bean Knight

As characters, I didn't like any of them that much. But as pieces, I liked them. I used Lego figs for miniatures in D&D games for awhile. The red and blue armor worked well for when a couple characters got Fire and Ice resistant armors. One of them also had a flaming sword, so this theme gave me...

Re: Quick questions (Atlantis and Toy Story)

This is excellent. We can finally make MOCs of soldiers in actual green fatigues. And I've been eyeing up some of the Atlantis sets for pieces for possible future M-Tron MOCs. Seems to me lots of new red pieces and green cockpits that will come in handy.

Quick questions (Atlantis and Toy Story)

1) Are the neon green transparent pieces in the Atlantis sets the same color as the old M-Tron/Blacktron II pieces? They look like a new shade in all pics

2) Same question about the Army Men Toy Story set. Is that traditional green or a new shade?

Re: CCCVII Entry: Castle of Illusion

I've always LOVED M. C. Escher's artwork, your obvious inspiration.

This build is just fantastic on so many levels. Good job. If was judging this contest, I'd be way too biased towards this one

Re: Weekly Set Review: Viking Chess Set

Is there any kind of glue remover that won't harm the paint on the torsos or melt the plastic like acetone does?
