Your lucky find gives me hope that someday I will posses some of the old shields and visors. I think I was just a little too young for those--I've got original crusaders and black falcons but missed the rest.

Thanks for doing this review! I'm trying to figure out what mix of the smaller sets I want to buy for my castle 07 army. I think that this catapult set will be the corner stone of my collection—it has the shields and my favorite figs of the line.

Yeah, after having looked more closely at the forums it does seem a little more juvenile. I linked into the board from the "Parent" section of Lego.com and the subjects there seemed... relevant? What really turned me off was when I read the posts about the classic castle lines. People were...

Lego.com message board

I just happened to stumble across the "official" message board for Lego. Do any of you have any experience with this site? It seems like it would be ideal for expressing ideas directly to Lego--perhaps even more efficient than our own "Dear Lego" thread. Just looking for impressi...

I vote for Vladek against my great preference for KKI over KKII. The Shadow Knights had much cooler armor and seemed much more like a trained army as opposed to a band of robbers. Vladek also had very evil looking euro armor and that nasty black helmet. Not to mention half of the cowpack only had on...

Welcome! I agree with Dunechaser, this is certainly the Renaissance of Lego. As child I was always so frustrated by not getting the sets I craved and not being able to get pieces that I lacked. Now, with a little more financial muscle and bricklink (which is a great spot to shop for Lego, if you hav...

Thanks for sharing! I'm in a never ending effort to organize my collection, but after every build I simply don't have the patience to put things back where they started. What kind of bin is that in your first picture? Is it a tacklebox? Have you been happy with it? I bought a big rack with bins from...

I have no comment on this set as I never bought it nor looked closely at it. But thank heavens KKII is gone and castle 07 has arrived! I don't think my love of Lego could have lasted many more sets like this.

Father-in-laws can be such a pain. Does this mean the end of your Bricklink store as well? It seems to be no longer listed. I had been eyeing some of your chain mail figs for months.

Great job. I thought about leaving my post at that, but I was actually wondering how many "active" members are there in our corner of the web? And what was going on June 25 that had 210 members online at once? The previous record seemed to be very old. Neither of those questions seemed to ...

I voted Jayko. I think strength would be winner in a battle, but in a one on one competition I'd give the edge to the fastest. Also, he ends up as the king! He has to be the man if he ends up in charge.

I liked your throne room :( My standards must be low compared to yours. I think it is an excellent MOC already, but I would envision a dwarf house more enveloped in the mountain side--like he had cut it out of the rock rather than built a separate structure. Also, I think the wilderness of the cave ...

I think that the next set will look like the KKII battle at the pass or the Viking Army with Heavy Artillary--A large number of figs with a simple building or Artillary piece. I hope it turns out more like the battle at the pass, that would fit our hopes for modulatiry and provide another Army build...
