Re: Battle of the Castle Sets: 7020 vs 7041

Troll Battle Wheel wins, without question. I probably get more comments and attention given to my Battle Wheel than any other lego set in my collection. It is so unique and silly that it demands an explanation . To top it off, the triggering mechanism allows the whole wheel contraption to be held/ai...

Please put me down for one. I guess I need to visit more regularly to avoid being on the bottom of a list like this.

Utah, USA

I really do appreciate the effort of putting all this together. Cheers!

I think I am most excited for the cost of the mini fig. Legs .28 Head .13 Torso .54 Hair .12 Off Duty Crown Knight: 1.07! A helmet and weapons should be reasonable on top of that from Brick Link. But all in all, I think I will build 20 PaB knights this way. I think this will be my first choice for a...

Giant Chess Set "Coming Soon" on S@H

Wow. It is real. July 1 release date. $299. That's a lot of cash. Wow. I Hope there isn't a rule against copying and pasting directly from the Lego website, but this is the set description: The ultimate LEGO® chess set! There’s never been a chess set like this one before! Now you can build the bigge...

I've bought two because I think it is the best castle lego has had in some time. But if you are looking to build more of your own creations, then I might hit up BrickLink to bulk up on the regular building pieces. As a side note: If this set goes on ANY kind of sale I'll be buying at least one more ...

This set is now available on S@H. I just did a search for "green grocer" and it's there.

$150. Arrives in 5-7 days. Super excited.

Oh, and I should mention I'm shopping in the US

So does anyone know if the price point will be closer to $3 or to $5 ? For $6 the crossbow attack is pretty reasonable if you are looking to build an amry. But no sheilds. I guess I will need to buy both.

I'm wonder why lego is waiting to release these after Christmas?

If recall correctly, Jojo has the complete collection of these ghosts on his brickshelf. Are they really Lego products, or are they after market customs? And where do they come from?

Congratulations on the new facility, and I look forward to many order filled there!

I don't think I ever bought one of these as a kid, but if I saw them today! Let's just say my credit wouldn't be improving any.

I could see a Lord of the Rings Licence doing well--particularly when The Hobbit movie comes out (assuming that will happen eventually). Those movies were very succesful, and there would be plenty of set options.

Some how in my mind this was always clear--the forestmen are the good guys. I suppose that comes from a "robin hood" mindset, but they are also the simple, normal people who have lives outside of war (they arn't wearing armor all the time). I'm curious to see if anyone thinks they are outr...

I'm curious how much is spent on special orders from sites like BrickLink. It seems that TLC is trying to get in on that market with their expanding PaB. Regardless, I think Lego recognizes AFOLs as an important and growing market segment.

A little speculation and wishing is healthy sometimes :) I also like a little bit of hearsay on occasion--the “dwarf set" that has pictures floating around would suggest that the crown knights are staying around in some form or another with minifig changes. I’m willing to speculate that they wi...

The scale of the tower is 1:300, does anyone know what a minifig scale is? Anyway the more current subject: Isn't this and sets like Market Street and Cafe Corner exactly what we've been asking for from LEGO for several years now? I couldn't agree more! I'm thrilled with the new sets that Lego is pr...
