Re: What's more engaging? (Story development)

If you've got the time you could do both, perhaps leave a gap in the middle like a 'before and after' comparison. When you start before the 'fall', the readers will be more engaged with the background story and will understand what's happening or has happened better. They will develop a relation to ...

Nice! Although adding more plants around the banks might help, IMO.

The line of Crusaders charged at the Falcons. However, they were met by a hedge of razor-sharp spears. Most of the Crusaders were killed by this alone, the rest perished at the hand of Cliff and the other Men-at-arms. Before long, not a single Crusader in the village was still alive. The soldiers cr...

Exactly, if they´d include game rules and you have to pay extra for them, I wouldn´t buy the set.

P.S. Nwinch might design a few LegoHammer decals. Thanks, nwinch!

Personally, I'd be happier with historical-theme sets anyway. I just love the idea of a LEGO set titled "Knights of Crecy" or "Henry V's Maurauders." But that's just me and I have no doubt I'm in the minority, where LEGO's overall audience is concerned. Did you know Warhammer ha...

I got this set three times now, it´s a great army builder. At first I feared the skeleton horse would be black, but luckily it´s white after all.

Wow, that's a cool castle. One thing: It won't be hard to attack, since you can see all the people in it. But then again, the defenders could use the walls in their favour, so the attackers would bump into them.

"There they are!"
"Get them!"
BAM!
"Ow!"

I think the movie is pretty cool. I haven't seen it yet, but trailers and MV's of 300 give a lot of footage. The Hot Gates battle is the coolest, IMO.

Let me see which sets I have so far.. (looks up manuals) Ah, got them. I've got three times 7090, 7091 once, 7092 once, and the set I like the best: The Final Joust, also once. But I'm planning on buying more in the near future.. The second coolest set is (IMO) 7091, with the big catapult. It's a gr...
