Re: Castle and Tolkien sets for 2013

At first glance, the sets look interesting. They do look like KK & KK II combined with Castle. I like the new swords. I'm glad that the "knights" have breastplates. Its nice to see that they've brought back the visored helm (my favorite design), the grille helm, and the great helm from...

Re: LOTR and the hobbit lego

This is interesting and surprising news. Though I have to admit, I'm not really that surprised with all the pervious licensed themes that LEGO has released. LEGO versions of Middle Earth should be interesting. I'll defintely collect the sets that I like.

Re: Lego Prototypes (castle)

Those prototype pictures looked really cool. Very interesting to see a Crusader knight with ovoid shield and those looked like great helms on the knights in the Loch Ness Castle set.

Re: Nuremberg Toy Fair: 2011 Kingdoms Set Pictures

The 2011 Kingdom sets look pretty good. The mill village is really neat. It is nice to see more civilian sets in LEGO Castle. King's Carriage Ambush definitely needs for more knights. Escape from Dragon's Prison is cool because the Dragons actually get a mount knight. The new weapons in the blacksmi...

Re: Medieval fortress being built in Arkansas, USA

Both castles look impressive. Definetly will have to go to Arkansas and France someday in the next twenty years to see and tour them.

Re: Wash Colors Separate, in Cold Water

Nice MOC. I am reminded of the conversation in World of WarCraft between an Alliance soldier named Private Molsen and "Buckets" Cleary. The dialougue can be found here:

I haven't come up with a name for the Dragons, but I have chosen to call the Lions the Golden Lions.

Re: Lego Kingdoms at 2010 Toy Fair

King's Castle looks great from the back. Much like 6080. Might need to buy 6080 someday to compare to 7946. I'm excited that the king has a breastplate piece. The second minifigure series looks interesting with a vampire and either Roman or Greek soldier.

Re: Lego Kingdoms at 2010 Toy Fair

Yeah, when I look at the Kingdoms sets I get the feel of an Crusaders/Royal Knights and Black Knights/Dragon Masters mixed with Knights' Kingdom and Fantasy Castle. I too have noticed no bows in the sets just crossbows. I am also hoping that the shield emblems aren't stickers either.

Re: Castle Instruction Manuals

Peeron.com has a good selection of scanned instructions in their database for older sets.
