In the contest submission thread, you state that being 10-20 pieces over the limit is neglible. I'm not sure how fair that would be, you could add plenty of things, like 2 extra figs with that many more pieces.

My favorite is definitely the flame-bolt launcher. It looks very cool, unfortunately it does not work. The chariot soldier has an odd sheild but the quintain is nice.

Here's a thought. Maybe LEGO is purposefully waiting until after the Pirates of the Carribean hype to release a new pirates line. Then everyone will not associate it with only PotC and it will prolong the life of the new theme.

I prefer magnets over keychains. They have almost all of the same figs available, but without that big metal rod through their heads.
