Re: Custom Gundabads - can you name the parts?
The haft is BW? I was wondering about it... The length between the Custom Crazy handle and the LEGO horn is a BW stick of dynamite with the fuse cut off. The resulting length of bar could be from a truncated LEGO part. It isn't, but there's no way of telling that from the picture so I gave away the...

Re: Custom Gundabads - can you name the parts?
And you are right. Kudos to you, sir!
The legs are BrickFortress, the weapon's handle Custom Crazy, the haft is BrickWarriors (though it could be any white bar), the hair BrickForge and the rest is LEGO.

Custom Gundabads - can you name the parts?
Here's a picture of some Gundabad goblins I MOC'ed from those in the Mirkwood Elf Army set.
The one in the front has parts from five companies. BrickWarriors is one. Can you name the other four?

MOC: Dragon Mountain modification
Although I really like the Dragon Mountain set, I'm not keen on the open access to the chamber on the left, so I modded it. I built it up so that it was secure from intruders but I didn't want to block it completely, so I turned it into a secret entrance/exit. Sorry about the poor picture quality. M...

Re: Policy guidance on posting pictures more than once
Thanks, Bruce. If a picture is just of minifigs with no heavy modding, i.e. no paint, cutting or sculpting, such as this one http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/AmperZand/Fantasy/uruk_army_montage_small.jpg where does it go? Eurobricks has its own forum for all minifigure-related posts regardless of t...

Hello Bluesecrets,
Thanks for your reply. None of my MOCs are or will be entered in any CCC contests. I'm an AFOL for the fun of it, not to win competitions.

Policy guidance on posting pictures more than once
Greetings, Keepers of the Classic Castle! I have a question regarding posting pictures in the CC fora: is it OK to post pics that one has posted elsewhere? I posted pictures of a modification to the Dragon Mountain set as well as some MOC'ed Lord of the Rings minifigures over at Eurobricks. Is it OK...

Re: New parts in 2014
Ball and chain shows up in several of the new police sets. This seems a useful bit for dungeons. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/bricktales/z-classic-castle/newmolds2014/thumb/ballandchain.jpg_thumb.jpg Is that a new ball and chain as a single element or is it the same combination of parts used f...

Re: Face-off BW vs purist Lego
I use lots of BW parts and haven't had quality concerns. The ABS they use is a bit harder than TLG's but that mostly hasn't been an issue. I tried to put some Chima wings on the BW armour that has clips on the back and the LEGO parts got scratched. But apart from that, I've been very pleased with BW...

Re: Series 12 Minifigures Unveiled
For Castle/LotR/fantasy minifig collectors, there aren't many 'must haves' in this series.
Ones I'll be be displaying more-or-less as they are:
- Mermaid
- Shakespeare
Ones I'll get for parts:
- Mrs Scratchen

Re: Lego Desolation of Smaug sets!
I'm tempted by the elf army set for its minifigs and warg, but the price is a bit daunting. I think I'll wait until it's discounted by at least 20% at Amazon or Argos.

Yes. Dark brown (woohoo!) and dark green are now available.Quickblade22 wrote:Any update on the new colors for the movable mini legs? Just curious.
These short articulated legs are definitely taking a step in the right direction. Get it? Articulated legs. Taking a step. Oh never mind.

Re: Collectible Minifigures Series 11
I envy all of you who can feel up a bag an know what you have..... For S10, you could see what each packet contained by shining a torch through the front of the packet and looking under the flap on the back. It helped to do it in the dark and therefore at home. What I'll be doing with S11 is buying...

Re: Modding Dragon Mountain - suggestions please
Yes, AK_Brickster, set no.70403. It may have been released on the great driftplains of Garheim some time ago but in a Lego castle far, far away, it isn't out until August. Thanks for your suggestion to build it up as a solid wall. I considered that and have not ruled it out. However, if it's possibl...
