For the pieces, the set is okay. However, the seige engine itself is clumsy at best. The colors are reminiscent of aged teak (every seige engine should be built from teak).

I also tried to open an account earlier this month and have yet to receive the confirmation email. However, I was able to resurrect an old account. I tried emailing Support, but I received no response.

I have posted my first MOC (http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Cat-M ... go_001.jpg). It s intended to be a city wall with a gate compatible with the CCC format. I was trying to come up with a good use for the raised baseplate. Let me know what you think.

Can someone help on how to establish a Brickshelf user account? I signed up for one a few weeks ago and have been unable to log-in. I have also not received any response to creating the account or follow-up emails I sent. Is there a standard lag time when a new account is created?

There is a pile of them at the Chicago Lego store. Too bad it has been discountinued.

I really like the old wall. That is a really interesting application and looks great too. Impressive armies.

I also really like the work, especially the windows. The gae is interesting as well. I will definately be working on some ideas that incorporate similar designs. Thanks!

I have focused on Castle, but I also have Pirates, Harry Potter (mostly for pieces), Classic Space and Trains (I guess this really isn't a theme).

This one is a little to much like a "comic book" type of set. There is really no medieval feeling inspired by it. I don't have any and probably won't get any.

I can confirm that you need to be an employee to purchase from the Enfield site. A friend of my grandparents used to work there and get me sets at 50% off!!! Alas, but they retired...

I think it was reading the Arthur legends as well as others already mentioned (like LOTR, The Narnia Series and even the Wizard of Earthsea to some extent).

Once started, it just cascaded. Somehow, it evokes ideas of a simpler, more noble age...

Mostly show themes such as Phantom of the Opera or things like Darth Vader's Theme - Always puts me in the mood for conquest.

I much imagine KK2 will be available soon. The LEGO store here in Chicago is fully stocked.
