I'm back after nearly a decade and ready to army build

G'day one and all, This whole Covid thing has been going on for so long I would've thought I would've turned to Lego a lot earlier. Suffice to say, have been painting a lot of toy soldiers Warhammer and the like and I'm pretty much over it. Found my box of 50 horses, half of them with fantasy era ba...

Re: Weekly Set Review: Viking Chess Set

I've never been a Lego Viking or a chess player. That aside, the bigger thing that perturbs me is the use of glue! Glue bad, no glue better.

Re:

I didn't like the armoured undead knight, didn't make sense to me. I am curious. What didn't make sense? I mean, an animated skeleton riding an animated horse skeleton in full armour seems very logical to me. Dan  :roflol: Dan. What I meant was it didn't fit in with the plain black and plain ...

Re: Weekly Set Review: The Final Joust

The concept of the joust was poor but the parts were great. I didn't like the armoured undead knight, didn't make sense to me. I think I bought 10 of these.

My wife was in the US recently and picked this up for me in the TRU buy two get one free sale (got the drawbridge and Troll fortress as part of deal.) I wont build it: I'll use it for parts and sell off some of it on BL.

Re: Crownies!

Hello! Classic factions were like old continental Europe; many realms. The Crownies are a fantasy Dark Ages product, and in many of those you have single kingdoms of focus beset by many trials. These guys are being overrun by death and chaos. Thus the humans in their desperation have united and put...

I'm with the Heir on this one. The lack of minifigs is a draw card for me.

G'day, It looks pretty good, version 2, but the 'curve-line' on the breasts don't follow the same 'curve-line' the cleavage.Depending on how buxom you want your female vampire, check the below two links: Non-buxom: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=973pb568c01 Buxom: http://www.bricklink...

A neat little 'helper pack' for eras gone by. I hope they bring a similar 2007-? pack out.

Either improve the MMV with the additions you think it needs or build your own version from scratch.
Nice adult response. Sorry for not posting to your standards. I will build, you grow up.

Re: 10193 Medieval Market Village - Official Thread

So many things are great about this set, any flaws are just background noise in my opinion. It's a huge non-conflict-oriented village/market castle set! With tons of detail! And peasants! And furniture! And lots of great parts! For a very reasonable price! And cows! Turkey! Fish! Brick-built birds!...

Re: 10193 Medieval Market Village - Official Thread

You guys in youre nitpick nervana are i think missing the major point of this set. It is not to say that the set is perfect, nothing is. You guys could find problems with stonebarrow keep, guarded church, etc just as easilly as you can with MMV. So if the point is not to argue the set is flawless, ...
