Re: Volcano
I saw this a Brickworld -- it looked great. If they could have brought the safety lights down, World of Lights would have been even better (although it's hard to top amazing).

Re: Profitable Elves?
Steve Witt, in his opening remarks at Brickworld, made it seem pretty clear that elves are not coming. At all. I was at the back of the room, but he seemed definite about that.

I know, I know, "Deathdog, we don't see you around the forums much and there's only three of us who actually read Glomshire Knights, so why on earth are you even going to Brickworld? Because it's going to be a great time and I can't wait to meet people and see what this whole convention thing ...

Glomshire Gatehouse
Well, sooner or later I'm going to have to build Glomshire Castle. This is a gatehouse for the castle, but it may not survive long enough for me build the whole thing (I need parts, but I need food even more than Lego. ABS doesn't taste as good as beef or veggies.) http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/11...

Re: Just back from dark age and new here
Papy.G: Welcome to the hobby, and welcome to CC! To parody a recent chant by a certain political party on this side of the pond - build, baby, build!I agree with Bruce - hang on to your old pieces and slowly build your collection. That's what I'm doing -- I did, by a stroke of fate, have a pair of v...

Re: Glomshire Knights
It's a more generic, and family-friendly, way of saying "Oh, Crap" or the other, naughtier way of referring to fecal matter.
