I'm a sucker for Wolfpack and small to mid-sized castles, so my list is a bit dull. Here they are, in no particular order: 6074- Black Falcon's Fortress 6081- King's Mountain Fortress 6067- Guarded Inn 6080- King's Castle 6073- Knight's castle 6075- Wolfpack Tower 6038- Wolfpack Renegades 6085- Blac...

I don't own a whole bunch, but they are nice, generic footmen. I have 4 soldier types, 1 knight, and what is probably the princess, if she counts as a crownie.

7093 Skeleton Tower (My so-called review)

Well, I've bought my SECOND Castle set from the new range (and I don't even own any actual Wolfpack sets yet...I need to get my priorities straight  ), 7093 Skeleton Tower. This set currently isn't reviewed, so I thought I'd step up to the plate and deliver my opinion on this set. The first thi...

What I really like about the castle is its simplicity. The BFs always seemed more no-nonsense than the crusaders and such, and so, for me, the castle works quite well on its own. But the main reason the simplicity impresses me is because, with a few flag and colour changes, this castle makes a quick...

Heir of the Black Falcon,

Lighting arrows on fire=coolness. :P
(I honestly didn't know that! I guess I'm used to the 6012 Siege cart, actually using spear to represent the giant bolt, not a round ball. Then again, 6012 couldn't shoot)

Just bought 7090 Crossbow Attack...

I just bought two of this set, and just...wow. LEGO really stepped up to the plate with the Crownies (they're probably my second/third fave faction now). I like this set quite a bit, so I figured, why not give it a quick review? (Sorry that I have no pics, don't have a working camera at the moment. ...

Sure, maybe this post -is- about 3 months behind the ball, but I feel like posting, because I think my 2 cents on these two excellent castles is necessary, being a castle fan. 6090 is excellent. Quite a few figs, lots of pieces, and an open design, which is good for those who play with their LEGO a ...

When I first saw the crownies, I thought, "Alright! Generic foot soldiers are back!", but was more interested in the undead and trolls. But after I looked at them a bit, I noticed that their symbol is similar to one of the old castle symbols: http://guide.lugnet.com/set/?q=375_2&v=z (s...

Sir Kohran, I only count the Royal Knights becuase of their heraldry (more lions). I kind of assume they're just an even higher power, commanding the lions, including their kings. Anyhow, back on topic. Another tough faction to beat would be the Forestmen, for many the same reasons as the Wol...

Yeah, that's probably correct.

Well, I'm out of interesting things for the pictue.

Other than that the LK and BF's apparently have taken residence in what I believe is a Black knight fortress.

Actually, that "BF" standing in the midst of the forestmen definetely looks more like a peasant. That explains the rather aggresive peasant, and the peasant with the forestmen. That's one more alliance in the picture! Maybe I should have called this thread "Forestmen and Peasa...

The spear really stands out to me, because it's the size of a harpoon piece (note that it's only about his height, spears are taller than minifigs), and I've only ever seen them released in chrome.

And I just thought the peasant was funny.

On a more on-topic note, take a look at the main tower. See that one forestman climbing really akwardly. Notice that he's suspended on a rope/string (were those ever released in castle sets?), and that the rope is held by an odd cream coloured harpoon piece. Any info on if it was released? If so, wh...

Hehe, looking at it again, you can see the cavalry bumming around in the background too.

"Hey, do you hear something on the other side of the wall?"

"Huh?"

"That sound of 1,000 twanging bows and arrows..."

"Hrm. Should we do something?"

"Nah."
