Affordable 3D printer?

It would be awesome to be able to get a 3D printer. Does anyone here own one, and are they overly expensive?
I have heard of the ones you can assemble yourself (which would be extremely cool) but i am not sure how well they compare to commercial ones and if they could produce custom Lego?

I've checked, and I have two reversed falcon torsos. I haven't gotten any since their first release and I remember what sets I had: 6030 Catapult, 6062 Battering Ram, 6073 Knight's Castle, and 6074 Black Falcon's Fortress. The only one with 2 BF torsos is the catapult. I don't remember noticing as ...

The books are really good! It you like building Castle Lego you will love it. A lot of the stuff in the books is about Arn using his knowledege from being a munk and a templar to build up and improve life and battle in sweden with "modern" techiques that he learned from the rest of europe....

Hi, there again, i have been away from the LEGO scene for a while (again). All of my LEGO that were organized individually by piece are now in two large bins, one for castle and one for "general" lego (ie pieces, you would not usualy build castle with) and my kids play with them every day ...
