Re: Custom Sword

Pretty cool. Unlike most of the Lego swords, this one has a point on it, rather than a looped edge.

Re: Weekly Set Review: Yellow Castle

Huh. I actually have this complete set. With all the figures. And parts. Some of the stickers are worn, but can easily be recreated via some sites out there. LUCKKKKKY!!!!!! Yellow Castle is (I think) one of the best because it's yellow and look at all of those minifigs! Just buy four of those sets...

Re:

Aww, you guys are so hard on the rocks! When used correctly, they can add realism to a MOC. Anyway, I think this started the downfall of castle. Lego decided, "Hey, we can lower our brick count by using big chunky pieces! That means we'll save money!" Yeah, maybe. I don't think this is a ...

Re: Weekly Set Review: Skeleton Surprise

It seems very unique, but it doesn't connect (using technic studs) to other castles, like the earlier ones...

If you made a timeline, I wouldn't use it but other people might. Although it is kinda true that there already are lots of timelines already made!

Yeah, that's cool. Finding old legos is always awesome! A couple months ago, I was at Kohl's department store and UNDER a shelf I found a #5938 Oasis Ambush marked down to 99 cents.

I want both of them too, but I've always seen 6086 as more practical. For starters, it has that huge storage thingie in the center of the raised baseplate. It also has walls and a secret exit through the back. 6090 has that big open throne tower that's really annoying!

The visors each have their own purposes. Literally speaking, the "streamlined" helmet on the right would be better for horsemen, whereas the "chunky" one on the left would be better for foot soldiers. I like the right side one better, though.

I really like those black dragons better than the new-age dragons and the green DM dragons! And, Batlord helmets are pretty cool.

It's ok, about as good as what I usually build, but tell your friend that his castle would be a lot cooler if he included inside details such as feed barrels and weapons.

Yesh, the Skeleton Chariot would be a useful set. But, it would have to be released soon, because I think that the Skellies and Crownies will be replaced by late 2009. If LEGO wants them to continue further, they will need new Crownie and Skelly sets.
