hm...I wouldn't think anything big of it although the idea of new shields are pretty cool.

Obviously aimed at younger audience, but indeed an impulse buy. As said before, it is a good start for younger children to get into the whole minifigure genre.

This is just me, but I would use them to make some crazy awesome master swordsmen who can just plow through the enemy. Maybe a king or a general's personal bodyguard!

too many wings on the cart. the dragon doesn't really fit for pulling the cart, but everything else looks pretty good. Plenty of useful pieces for parting out.

crusaders would do well, but the black falcons would win. come on, they are just too cool! They may not have the most men, but they would still probably hold their ground against all of those factions.

More shields for the trolls would be nice, but I think they are just supposed to be far-from-polished warriors with crude swords. Dwarves without shields, well, the majority use axes, so I wouldn't think they would need them.

That book is very offensive to me. It is such a shame, the idea of having young children view the movies, reading the books. These kind of things put faith in question, and I do not think it right for a young child to be having internal battles of what to believe.

Highland bagpipes! Fantastic instruments for battle and for festive times as well.

Not much in the set, but hey, cool dragon and longsword. True, a bat riding a dragon is indeed a bit odd...

I like it very much. It doesn't really suit the whole medieval genre, but it is still fun to play with. Really, I would build it, see if I liked it, and if I didn't, just part it out.

I have about 15 I think. I like just the plain checkered design with the crown in the middle, although the ones with chain mail are pretty cool too.

this set was very awesome. This could probably be called the signature black falcon set. The six men was a great touch. The alternate designs were very cool as well, but the whole connection by pin thing was kind of annoying when trying to transport it elsewhere.

I think that Basil Batlord's helm could have definetely been redone. It was not very evil at all, if they engaged in combat with the enemy I'm pretty sure the other side would only die of laughter from the oddness of his helmet...Although I must say the witch idea, the longsword and staff for Basil ...
