Re: I have a question...
Wow, that kid must have strong lungs if he is able to breathe through that! I get really tired of the constant "DON'T POKE YOUR EYE OUT!" nonsense that plauges modern society. When the box says 7-14, but then says in the corner "WARNING: Small parts. Not for children under 3&qu...

Re: Prince of Persia sets - final pics and prices
Looks interesting. If I bought any, it'd probably be for the Eastern elements for making some Adventurers-esque stuff.

Re: When was the golden era of LEGO?
I think it was probably 1989 to around the first year(s) of the 2000s. Granted, I wasn't even alive for part of that, and pretty young for some of it, but, looking at the sets from back then (of which I own a few), and looking at the sets now...Well, I don't like it. I miss the "Sets Under Ten ...

Re: Christmas LEGO Present
I have a 1 gigabyte flash drive that looks kind of like a LEGO brick. However, the part which comes off doesn't click onto the body.

Well, it's not "good' all that happened per se, but it makes sense as to why the trades went awry. Glad you're back and doing better.

Re: my family owns an english castle 0_o
That's cool about your family owning a castle. About all I know is I'm related to Jesse James (not something to be particularly proud of...) and then a guy who helped translate the King James Bible (1611, I believe). I really need to look into my ancestry and stuff; there's no doubt it would be inte...

Re: Who Would Win the Lego Castle War?
I'm gonna go ahead and kill this thread: The Undead allied with the Trolls would win, hands down. Let me tell you why: They both have sturdy, large ships, 3 masters of magical arts, one of which has an endless army of undead soldiers. Also, there is no definite way to kill the skeletons. These aren...

Re: What were your first Castle sets
I must admit I'm not entirely sure what it was...I think it was a Fright Knight's figure pack or something, or perhaps the set with the Fright Knight lord and a dragon.
As to first LEGO set ever, it was a western set with a horse-drawn wagon, cannon, and soldier.

Great poem! It's hard to make those long ones... I sense another Beowolf here  . Great job; I look forward to seeing more from you in the furure. Thanks for the comment. :) Appreciate it. I'm hoping to write a fantasy short story for an (unofficial) short story contest on a forum I'm a member...

Re: My first MOC...Where do I get bricks in bulk?
Yard sales and thrift stores can be good. I've especially gotten a lot of great deals from thrift stores. Unfortunately, the one I got them from moved a bit farther away, and now the selection is much worse...Could be partially due to the recession. Oh well. I've gotten a lot of stuff off of eBay as...

Well, I don't think it'll take me that long. But we'll see.Ye Olde Republic wrote:Really? We were discussing this in chat last night and none of us could decide exactly what it was you were asking so I took a shot in the dark. Do you really plan to not buy any LEGO for upwards of five years?
