Re: Re-weaving the forum fabric with old threads
I thought that this was a funny topic because so often when there is a new thread on an old topic someone links to an old thread and makes a statement like " Here it is a year ago and you should have done a search first" but when an old thread is brought back up it is considered a crime a...

Re: I have a question...
I played with LEGO System already when I was 3, I believe (I got my first set on my 4th birthday). But then, I remember I would often bite off pieces I wasn't able to detach with my fingers. I think I stopped doing that when I was 6. So, how old are you now? I'm guessing 11. How exactly did you inf...

Re: Toy Story Reviews
By the way, is it true the plastic the Army Men are made of is very bendable, so they feel almost like real soldiers toys :twitch: What? They are not made out of the same kind of plastic as normal figs?! I hope not, I was looking forward to buying that set... He is talking about the green arm...

Re: LEGO Castle 1984-2000 Webpage
Excellent work, man!! Thank you for this! Ahh... Castle will never be as great as it was in the 1980s... Wait, did that not just sound a little optimistic? It's not! So let us hope the new theme which comes out this year (I don't think that's a spoiler, since pretty much everybody knows there IS som...

Re: New Posable Horses
The links work for me. Same here, apparently. Though last time I tried they didn't... Anyway... Congrats on the GREAT horses! You probably can't get any better than this with making a brick horse! I still prefer the molded one, though... Looks better with a minifig, and doesn't fall apart th...

Sorry for BUMPing an old thread again, but please, can anybody give me some working links to where I can see those horses? All of the Brickshelf links posted by footsteps here are dead!

Re: What's your favourite Castle helmet?
Out of the above ones, I also like the grill helmet and the flare helmet (it just looks so classic and simple). The jelly bean helmets are easily the worst... The classic visor is surprisingly ugly, I must say! Maybe it's just that I'm used to the newer, pointy visor... I also never really liked the...

Re: Community Opinion: 6093 Flying Ninja Fortress
After seeing this thread, I went to brickfactory.info to see what this fortress looked like in detail. I have to say I was positively surprised! I never really liked the use of large pre-molded pieces or those empty-looking towers there... but I had NOT known -- until now -- that this thing was modu...

Essentialy. Read the little guide I wrote above. Of course, it was written according to my taste, so you may not agree with it...Cracko Witcho wrote:How drastic is the grey change? Would my old pieces stand out badly in a coursing of new pieces?

What's your favourite Castle helmet?
Mine is definitely the one with the pointy visor. To put it shortly:
1. It protects the whole head of a knight.
2. You can attach three plumes to it.
3. You can open up the visor!
4. It just looks awesome, and kind of intimidating, too.
I use it for my Black Knight custom minifig.
