Re: Prince of Persia sets - final pics and prices

I'm really looking forward to some of the pieces like the turbans to add some diversity.

Some of those things would make good minifigs like those evil half skelly half minifig guys.

Re: Weekly Set Review: Weetabix Castle

Well it's ugly. I don't know what else to say.

I wouldn't buy that for $5 (though I actually would to sell it at a profit). :tasty:

Re: Spelling LEGO

Everyone outside the Lego community spells it "Lego" or "Legos".

Re: New Lego Universe trailer looks kick###

Very nice trailer... however... I'm looking forward to other MMOs much more. Star Trek Online, Star Wars The Old Republic, etc. Also Lego games are never anything more than average. I hope they can change it with this one. Lastly I fear nazi mods. Lego over censors their stuff like mad. You can't ma...

Re: My first MOC...Where do I get bricks in bulk?

The absolute cheapest quality Legos I've found are in 1) Goodwill Stores and other stores like it where they get used stuff (you can get boxes for a few bucks sometimes!) and 2) Thrift Stores. The Grocery Outlets often get shipments of Legos which they'll sell for often 50% the price or less! The ba...

Re: What were your first Castle sets

That castle from the clown looking Royal Knights or whatever it was. It was neat. It had that ghost and stuff. I got more sets from earlier times from my friend after that (he was spoiled with Legos and gave me lots for free).

Re: Age Of Empires Question

I tried to play AoE 1 and 2 but apparently the company doesn't support the online mode anymore. I found that horribly depressing. They were great games. That was probably part of the reason I skipped AoE III.

Re: Are Big pieces all so bad?

I love wall panels. I could see why people wouldn't like them to be overused but I don't own enough to ever do that :P.

Now those rock pieces... Well, they're okay in moderation.

Re: LEGO Organizing.

50-60k? How about... how many shoe boxes full? I have trouble thinking of it in terms of brick numbers though that sounds like a lot. My collection which is relatively small took me days to organize. I actually found it easier to organize by lego type and not color. That makes finding the certain ty...

Hey don't dis Tower Raid. :twitch:

It's one of my favorites. I own three of them. I can't speak for this one though since I've never owned it and it looks a bit plain for my tastes.

Re: A joyfull ocasion

I've been thinking about buying this. It's really expensive though. Heck, all Lego things are expensive. But this one is really expensive. :P

I've never spend more than $100 on a set as I usually don't have more than that on hand lol... Maybe if I am able to get a job (currently in between...).

Re: New request for Minifig Hair Pieces in a pack

I own a pathetic amount of hair. They come in City sets and stuff so much more often and I pretty much only buy castle (with a splash fo pirates and a few tiny sprinkles of others).

I would SO buy a hair pack.

Re: Are the New Castle bad?

I love this Fantasy theme. That said some of the sets are "meh" though some are great. I do wish we'd get more giant plates. I was abusive to my legos when I was a kid and sadly none of mine survived. Since I've only just started again (about a year ago) with Lego stuff I'm lacking good pl...
