I can't find anything that I don't like about this one.I especially like the sword over the the shoulder (very Mel Gibson) and the kilt is just to great. Excellent job!

This looks like it will be a tough category to judge, there are a lot of great entries!

I noticed that each tree came with a pretty substantial base, but I figured there would need to be more to it.

He gives a piece count on his largest one, 674 branches!!

Amazing, but man, that is a lot of branches, and that is for only one!! He must have thousands tied up in that little forest.

I think the roof really makes the whole MOC. If it had a boring roof, it would just be ho-hum design, but with that interesting roof, it really looks great. Also a great idea to add ladders, I can't stand it when people build things that can't actually be used. Just a pet peeve of mine I guess. Nice...

That game definately could provide a lifetime worth of inspiration. Man I love AOE.

I think I like the archery range the best, because of the tower, but also the barracks, too. I really like the second floor entry with the pulley on the blacksmith shop. Great job!!!

Great job!! I was always dissapointed that the only girl in my LEGO world was the pirate princess. And of course, what a better faction to make customizations for than the Black Falcons. She has a real Joan of Arc feel. I especially like the falcons on the armor, but that decal on the cape is an awe...

Nice storeroom!!

I like all the arches you and round pillars, much more authentic than using square bricks.

I do have one question, why is part of the exterior wall cliffs and the other squared off? Are you building this tower to connect to something larger?

Man it has been a long time since I posted.

I was never a big fan of the Dragon Masters, but I don't mind this set because it is pretty functional. I liked the brown horses (it took me forever to get one), and I also liked the long halberds as well.

I give it an 8/10.

As much as I hate Fright Knights, I had this set and didn't mind it. Mine came with the mountain, which is kind of interesting, but I used all the pieces in it without any problem. The fleur-de-lys torso is really nice, and I am always after more wagon wheels. Not a bad set at all, aside from the de...

Avery nice MOC, but a little too Harry Potter for my taste. I just can't decide how much I like the coloring on this one for a castle. One criticism that I have, and this is not against the builder, is that I have a feeling the piece count on this one is very low. Most of the major elements are made...

The repeating 1x3/round pattern just is too much to look at over an entire castle. Yes, round towers do look a little out of place against a regular wall, but I just don't think this is the way to go. Why not keep that pattern, but use it only around the top, or put a batter in and then use it for a...

Aside from the many other points made here, I think that the golden ages were so because the sets were a little generic. The designs were great, but didn't really lean towards being the "bad" or "good" army. You could have made your forestmen be the "bad guys" pillaging...

I have to agree with Tycho that the bulky hinges are well worth the sacrifice to get those doors, they look fantastic. I like the suggestion of moving the slopes, I think that they look off when the doors are closed more than when they are open. You should try to add the bars across the door like Jo...

I have been there, too, back in 1998. They were doing some work, but I don't know or remember exactly what was going on. Beautiful place and perfectly defensible. I only have a few pictures, and those didn't really turn out well, wish I had my digital then.

What do you think of Islanders?

Thinking about my pirate sets during the favorite theme thread, I remembered that I also had some from the Islanders theme as well. I kinda liked the sets at the time, but they are a little hokey looking back on them. The booby traps and crocs were cool, but the statues and head dresses were a littl...

Definately pirates. I always had them paired up with my castle figs, putting the whole guns and cannons thing aside. Some great sets and awesome ships with that theme.
