Back Again
Hey all, I don't know how many of you remember me from when I was active on CC (2010-2014), but I'm back! After a dark age of about 4ish years, I've come back to LEGO. With four years of change in between, I'm looking forward to building more with a fresh perspective. Unfortunately, I don't have acc...

Re: Historical Accuracy?
It definitely depends on both the builder and the build itself. For me personally, I have built many things in a world I worldbuilt myself, but gave it the technological ability of a 10-12th century equivalent in our world. I pay a lot of attention to what would have been possible and not possible i...

Re: Analysis of Medieval Building Styles
Interesting analysis. I made a post a while ago talking about the rise of hyper-detailed MOCs (in the style of DC's earlier buildings, which were currently the biggest splashes in the Castle world at the time). I've noticed that the trend has really taken off recently, probably due in part to the fl...

CCCXII: Basil, Bat King of Mt. Luna

CCCXII: Urghuk, Orc of the Boar Tribe
https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7553/16090589185_0ab36f7e94_n.jpg In the annals of Nortlen history, there is an ancient codex detailing the whimsical and fantastic Eastern Continent beyond the White Sea. On this continent in the grassy plains of Horruk, orc tribes contend for control over valuable r...

Re: Elves
I like the sail on the boat set. The rest of the sets don't particularly appeal to me, but While I'm less excited about minidolls than I would be about figs, I could see including minidolls as a race of elves in the same world as fig humans, so this could work. Also I like the new elf-ear hair possi...

Re: Battle of the Castle Sets: 7187 vs 70402
I'm very partial to the Kingdoms line of sets than I was to the recent Castle line of sets, so I raise my banners in favor of 7187. The Green Dragon Kingdom from Kingdoms is far superior in color choice and design than the Red Dragon Kingdom from 2013's Castle, IMO. Neither are bad, but Kingdoms exc...

Re: BrickWarriors New Products
I wanted to use the plague doctor's coat with a SW cowl to create a monk. Unfortunately, the two parts aren't compatible. You can't push the cowl down so it rests on the shoulders. I know BW make a hood that works with the coat as shown in Thrash's picture above, but the SW one looks more sacerdota...

Re: Collectible Minifigures series 12 image
I really do like the Jester's colors. I've been saying for a while that Castle should have a purple/gold faction. I'm glad I'm not the only one who dreams of a purple/gold faction! :) I couldn't find the Jester in the LEGO store today (the crowd was overwhelming) but I was able to get the Wizard an...

Lady's Blessing
Hey guys. So my initial plan with Lady's Blessing was to create a separate build for each chapter, but as it stands I have no access whatsoever to my LEGO collection (I am living away from home at college). Instead of leaving the story as of yet unreleased, I'll include the entire story here. The en...

Crossbow helm looks very intriguing. The point at the top looks like it has the possibility of being broken off due to it's length and thinness, I presume that's not the case?

MOCs Pulled From the Dungeons
Hello all, Recently I've been a bit in and out of the LEGO community for reasons beyond my control. Still working on finishing my current story as well as the other stories and builds I have planned for the Nortlen. It's just now they're being built and handled on a less consistent basis. Due to my ...

Very classic, holding a lot of motifs in a relatively small area. Great creation.
