Has to be Forestmen's River Fortress for me, never really got along with the wolfpack as an outlaw faction
The set is much bigger too

Re: Weekly Set Re-Review: Knight's Stronghold
I always used the Black Monarchs ghost set as a guard post and placed it near the prison cell on set 6085. or you could use it as a storage cupboard for the kings armor. :D It still needs to be one brick taller to properly fit in with the castle wall height. I always thought of this set as the Falc...

Re: Weekly Set Re-Review: Knight's Stronghold
Because I don't own this set I must ask this question. Any one know whether the trebuchet actually fired without manual force(applying force to one end of the catapult) ? I am planning on building one later on today but before I do I just want to ask all of you. Thanks, In answer to your question -...

Re: What's your favourite Castle helmet?
I don't really have a favourite since all my troops need their helmets to do different jobs, for example could you see an archer with full, visored helmet on? I think if I was made to give away all but 1 type of helmets that I have (firstly I would cry) then keep my pointy visors...they came out whe...

Re: Siege weapons by Rhox
That trebuchet is easily the best I've ever seen - makes me ashamed of the one I put together not so long ago. I saw the pictures on Brickshelf a week or so ago and was wondering - does it work? The one I put together flung a 2x2 round with an eye piece on top a fair way but I couldn't attain the hi...

Re: The Decline of Lego Castle?
I am of the opinion that the cream of the crop came out in the 80's but that was my generation of lego castle as toys The only mistake lego ever made throughout the ages was KKII - those multicoloured knights just wouldn't have been taken seriously and were probably aimed at young children. Can you ...

Re: 6085 Black Monarch's Castle vs 6080 King's Castle
I'm the same in that I only own the BMC at present. I want a 6080 and tend to think that is the better castle - things like the step detail on the back wall just make this a better castle for me
