Re: LOTR and the hobbit lego

I always thought this might happen one day. I suppose that PotC and the new movie finally opened the door as far as adding licensed themes. Now the Series 3 minifigure elf will have some company. And I'm curious how they will make a Lego ring? That photo looks more like Lord of the Bracelets....

Re: Discovered Old Lego Set, What should I do?

Hey all sorry for a bit of a late reply. :? Thanks for all the input, people had a lot to say on the matter and it was much appreciated. I have decided that I shall keep the set boxed away for now. Seeing as I don't have many other(if any) older lego sets boxed, I think I would like to keep this one...

Discovered Old Lego Set, What should I do?

Hey all. I recently found an old lego pirate set. (not castle so I am posting in this thread here) It is this http://brickset.com/detail/?set=6261-1 , 6261 Raft Raiders. The set is in mint condition and still boxed. I believe the manufacturing date of this set is 1992 or 1993 as I saw it in old comm...

Re: Christmas loot thread

I am happy to say that I got the Imperial Flagship for Christmas. That was the only Lego I got not counting the Prison Carriage Rescue I found a couple days later at a Barnes and Noble. Who knew they sold Lego? All in all a good haul!

Re: Lego Games: Part Packs or Actually Games?

I don't know if this has been said yet but most Lego games are better for parts. However some like Chess are good for playing as well. I son't think they are all "part packs."

Re: I'm framing this one.

Thank you Heir for clarifying. You explain things well and I can see what you're saying. But you have to admit its a, "lucky" penny indeed. (My quote button isn't working so thats why I formatted the post this way.) TRU is also more complicated than I ever imagined.

Re: I'm framing this one.

Wow! That's amazing! They (TRU) must have messed up pretty badly at one point of another for that price to show up. It's too bad their weren't more of them, imagine a 100 black falcons for $1.00! Did you actually pay with a penny? That would be cool and it would indeed be a, "lucky" penny.

Re: CCCVIII entry...the riddle of the Sphinx...

Looks Great. I especially love what you did with the sphinx's face. It looks good. I'm not sure about the big ol' Hagrid Beard on Oedipus. For some reason I just don't like it on regular minifigs. But thats just me. I don't know enough about Oedipus to say if he had a beard or not anyway. The sphinx...

Re: The elf!

Good luck getting them guys! I would alert people of this ASAP but by the time my shift ends some 6-8 hours later likely they'd be almost gone. Heir Thanks Heir! I'm gonna try my best don't visit TRU too often. I have a lego store near me and all :) . But thanks for the tips I'm gonna hopefully fin...

Re: Bullet Helms and REAL Bows please.

Ah, bullet helms. Can never find enough of them on BL. Look at the bright side of crossbows; they pack more power and represent wealth. Bullet helms are a favorite of mine too. The problem is they are hard to find as you stated. They off course go on archers but also look good on halberds and guard...
