Re: CCCX Dragon bridge

The waterman is called a Vodianoi in other places, right?

Other fairy tales have a Nix, that would do nicely as a substitute.

I was in Ljubljana this summer, it was great, as is your rendition.

Those US only polybags make me sad, the archer, now an elf, sigh, how hard can it be to toss a container full of them over the pond?

Re: LEGO Theme Survey

Dr who could be a very interesting license, but do keep in mind that it'll still be a license. With a few key figurines and the tardis, just about every other theme can be strung together.

Re: Reissue the collectible minifig sets in packs or single

For me it is not about the exact figure, who cares if the romans have a shield that's a bit different, the spartan's print is not exactly the same and more of that, I care about the general figure. The figures as they come out now are a dream come true for those with a specific interest, now I'll wa...

Re: interesting beach party set with collectible figs

The monsters don't really interest me as much as they might some other people. I really hope they get to the romans and other castely figures, I am willing to accept a lower quality if they help me diversify, and help define a time frame.

Re: The OTHER 2012 Lego Castle

I like this thing, sadly, I won't be buying it this year, but very soon in the next year I will buy one, maybe two. It has a somewhat similar style to the gate at the tournament, I think I can make a nice gothic castle out of it.

Re: Kingdoms Chess!!!

great army builder! I will definitely be getting this :D It's interesting that there were no rumors of this. judging by the lack of a real base and well thought out minifig use I would say this is something lego threw together at the last minute(which would explain the lack of rumors)to get rid of ...

Re: Reissue the collectible minifig sets in packs or single

The mold part does sound like an issue, though I am not sold on the collectible part. Lego has been giving us AFOL/TFOL's quite a bit of attention, which I absolutely love, I think enabling us to get the figures we want without lining up to fondle plastic bags will be worth something. It's not that ...

Re: The new golden era?

I do think that emerging during the castle line we have a new golden age, it coincides with the better designed city based stuff as well. LEGO looked back at its roots, but did not forget the newer pieces that make for a lot of detail.

Re: Reissue the collectible minifig sets in packs or single

While the maic of the collectibility certain has some charm, I do think that waiting 1-2 years will leave that magic pretty much intact, even the target audience will work, AFOL's and TFOL's (to a lesser extent, generally) will have less an issue with waiting then kids, There is very little needed, ...

Reissue the collectible minifig sets in packs or single

I think I am not alone in wanting a few romans, monsters, vikings, but finding the shops raided from them. When turning to the internet, I see prices soaring with the angels. To me, this seems like a business opportunity. Please make some packs, or singular figures, made from the most popular of the...

Re: Changes in Medieval/Pirates Female minifigs...

I like the slope skirt better, and I just give my men shoes, a 1x1 plate under each leg to compensate the length. It makes the figures a little less deformed as well.

Re: The Decline of Lego Castle?

I do not think we see only reruns of older sets. We do see a new castle, and siege equipment and such, simply because every run needs these staple sets. Every kid will want a simple four walled castle, and something to break it down with, that will not change, we, however, also have sets that go bey...
