You're missing the link in the first post to the guide (it's just guide). Sorry that's a little unclear. Light Box Instructions :D

Re: Photo Tips (Was "This was probably covered before but...")

I know it's also key to pay attention to the settings on your [digital] camera. I'm sure I don't know the technical terms, and I have to re-read the instruction manual every time I take a photo, but there are different settings for natural sunlight, florescent lighting, and incandescent lighting. G...

Re: 3ds Max Modelling?

I haven't done it with Max, but I have converted LDraw files to Maya. I wrote a little translation program for it. The biggest problem I ran into at the time was polygon winding. LDraw was not consistent with it. I know that it's been something that has been improved and there is now a winding flag ...

This is pretty awesome, and his pictures turned out great. I might have to build one, if I could ever find the space. The great thing about space is if you don't glue the PVC, you can disassemble the box for storage. Anthony modified the design a little bit to make some free standing lights , but i...

Yes, all of the Viking sets are on sale (30% off) at Toys R' Us stores. You can check out the ad in your Sunday paper. Any idea how long this sale will last? I won't have any spending money til the end of this week... The sale is through Oct. 21 (Saturday). At the Toys R' Us in Thousand Oaks, CA the...

Great work Enryu. :D I really like how you created all of the gears without actually using any of the Technic gears. The black and white is a nice touch as well, especially since it seems you used several different colors, which result in different shades of gray in the image. and last, porschecm2, ...

What's GIMP? And I can't figure out how to get rid of the EXIF stuff. I use Arcsoft Photobase 4.5, anyone else? Help? GIMP = GNU Image Manipulation Program It's a free, open source photo editing program similar to Adobe Photoshop. There's an older article discussing GIMP available in the archives. ...

Well, I can't help you, but I have a question of my own. I can't get a picture that is 120 by 120 and keep to the 10 MB limit. I need to make the picture like 39 by 39 before it is less than 10. I've wrecked my best wrestling pic to try to figure this out. See this thread (specifically my post, whi...

I'm a little confused by your complaint, as your signature (and the motto of the crest you use as an avatar) is Latin for "If God is with us, who shall be against us?".

Great job. :D I'm not usually very impressed with vignettes, or vignette like MOCs, but this one is superb. Just one question, and perhaps I'm getting a bit forgetful, but shouldn't Luke have already lost his hand and saber at this point?

On Topic: I hope to get a better avatar someday (not that this one isn't great ). I'm working on a viking one right now, and even though the dimensions are 120x100 pixels, the filesize is still 88kb (and that is with the lowest quality JPEG I can get, in Photoshop CS2), and I can't get the ba...

Thanks for the hint. I'll be sure to check the bases next time I go looking for bulbs.

When you say larger bulbs, do you mean like floodlight size bulbs? If you could post a picture of the bulb that would be great.

I would buy either a redesign or an accurate legend in bley, but I didn't have the choice to vote for that. So, I chose to vote for redesign hoping that you would add the two bley categories together (or at least take them both into account). Like others has stated, as long as it's castle I'm intere...
