Bluesecrets wrote: Building set one...the Mirkwood Army one. I have a beef! Why does the chick elf have the same face as all the other elves? How are you supposed to know she's the chick elf? This makes for a meh.
Tauriel = chick elf? Because Tauriel is not in that set, she is in the mirkwood spiders set.

Re: Lego Desolation of Smaug sets!

Me and my brother just picked up copies of Dol Goldur battle, Lake town chase and Dol Goldur ambush from toys r us! :D anyway I built lake town and the big Dol Goldur sets so far. I really like them both. I got all of them for exactly the expected prices of $70, $50 and $20 and they all seem worthwh...

Re: LCC-Outlaws Official Faction Thread.

Ahem... With regards to that bit about outlaws being evil and rebellious... I may be rebellious, but not evil... See I was outlawed due to a tragic misinterpretation. I fight for Lenfald as much as my own glory! (almost). Anyway, being hunted has a tendency to harden a man to adversity, and a hunted...

Re: Lego Desolation of Smaug sets!

Yeah the ear looks a little weird... But it's a small enough misfortune that I actually didn't notice it before it was pointed out. But yeah looks quite strange. It does look better from some angles then others though, so the only way to really be sure about it is just to get it in person. Any piece...

Re: Lego Desolation of Smaug sets!

I am shocked that the Beorn hair is fused to the head. That seems extremely odd. Any chance that was just a prototype? Perhaps there will be a way to seperate the two with a bit of modifying. It will be very sad if this news turns out to be true in the final version :'( If you look closely you can ...

Re: Lego Desolation of Smaug sets!

Thanks! I agree that they are a tad expensive, especially the Beorn and Lake town ones, but overall I think it's worth it.

Lego Desolation of Smaug sets!

I have found some pictures of the finished, new lego sets for wave two of the hobbit, on the one ring dot net. Check them out here! http://www.theonering.net/torwp/2013/10/19/80896-see-new-high-res-artwork-for-the-desolation-of-smaug-lego-sets/ As usual, the minifigs look amazing. Lots of great new ...

Re: LCC-Outlaws Official Faction Thread.

Interested. :sly: I am on the side of Lenfald, moreover, although i bear a bit of a grudge on a more personal level against Triphian, due to my exile and all... To cut to the chase, I want the queen dead, and, although I have no particular liking for Loreos, I believe we already had a sortof inform...

I will offer whoever allies with me, 50,000 Fangrii* (official currency of the city of Fangroth) in exchange for their help with assaulting the Queen's stronghold of Aerendor on the Magical Isles, as well as protection and unlimited resources from Fangroth. * 50,000 Fangrii is equivalent to the val...

Re: Vikings 2.0 set designs and mocs

Bit late, but oh well ;) I love the whole Vikings ideas, and may well try to build some stuff myself at some point. TLG should seriously think about releasing more Vikings sets, it'd make their lines of sets way more interesting :) Agreed. Anyway, I am almost done with my first Viking themed moc. I...

Aww! I missed the voting deadline! For some unknown reason I stopped receiving email reminders whenever something is posted on this forum, so I missed a few days of posts... Great entries to everyone! May the best faction (OUTLAWS) WIN!!! :D

Great job, Aeridien!

Ssmidt said that the water looks very realistic, as in looks a lot like real life, but he abbreviated very to ver.
