Re: Back Again

Has it been that long since you were active? Time flies. But glad to see you back! And looking forward to what you make. I've always liked NinjaGo a lot, but recently it has produced some fantastic large sets like the City, the Temple, and the Bounty. Only the latest wave is all about bikers, and so...

Re: Historical Accuracy?

It depends on whose building. I don't pay too much attention, personally, but I think I build in a fairly accurate way when it comes to medieval. There are always those times you opt for the artistic thing that you know isn't accurate though, at least I think I've done that before  .

Re: Colossal Castle Contest 15

I know microscale has been asked about, but what about larger than minifigure scale? Is that permissible only in the miscellaneous categories?

Re: CCCXV - Barrels Out Of Bond

I've seen lots of renditions of this, but your brings something special with the dynamic layout, really pulls one in and makes it look like that river is really torrential!

Re: Overly Detailed Instructions

Frankly, I don't know I could say it applies to all sets, mind, but I find that on larger sets like exclusives I actually miss important instructions, FOL though I am, and detailed though the instructions are, and even find myself with extra pieces of a large size (meaning that really I just missed ...

Very unique, the circular base with the rocks wrapped around it looks awesome  .

Re: Reformation at 500

Great MOCs to commemorate this event, I myself haven't built anything this year because I'm quite busy with real life things to commemorate it, but it's great to see at some point others have.

Re: Sandyman's Watermill

That's your most impressive MCO yet! I'd say that's a feat  . The bridge is downright lovely, and the rest is cool, great expansive water. The angles all over are ace. Well done sir! One small critique (which could make do as praise in fact :eyebrows: ) is that the mound on the left is so cool...

Re: Crossing Orange Fern Gorge

The whole scene is great, but I particularly like the stonework. I am curious: do you have a method to building it, or do you start putting pieces together and build it as you go? I ask because I am trying to make my stonework look more natural, and I think you have done an excellent job. I see a l...

The War Between Four Walls

I figured I'd share my latest build here. It's the famous barricade scene from Les Miserables, and I made it an All-LEGO scene for the Summer Joust over on flickr: Hope you like it! Re: MELO R4: The Hidden City of Gondolin

Awesome! The rowboat in buildings is becoming quite popular now! You know though, btw, Simon NH wasn't the first to do it; but I suppose you mean you did it the same way he did.
