Re: Rebuilding 6081 King's Mountain Fortress

Hi Serow . I'm impressed laddie . Takes much determination to rebuild an old castle. I hope to build a small but functional castle one day with my limited LEGO blocks. Meantime , I'll try to design and build a realistic OUTLAW stronghold. Ciao .

Re: Lands of Classic Castle - Discussion Thread

Fellow Roawians. I kind of like leaving all members on their faction lists IF they have scored some points . :( That at least indicates their first [joining] MOC was completed. Maybe who ever is updating lists could PM members inactive for 6 months or more and ask if the're still interested ? If no ...

Re: Castle 2013... meh?

Overall, I have to agree with the general feeling that the Castle 2013 isn't inspiring to most of 'us'. Yet, having struggled to build a respectable castle, myself, there is some merit in the Castles on offer. After 3 months of exposure to many amazing LCC castle MOC's the 2013 Castle looks way to si...

Re: Do you have a medieval hero?

My favourite fantasy hero would be the female healer, Kira of the Kira Chronicles trilogy . Belonging to a small clan of forest dwellers called Treemen , her journey is truely heroic. I think Lenfald folk in particular would enjoy her story. My favourite medieval hero is Robin Hood. But not from She...

Re: Rivendell

Words almost fail me . This build is richly colourful . Perfectly detailed and constructed. Imaginative and immensely interesting. Lego tastick . :D Probably the best ever mega MOC I've ever seen. Hugely inspiring to new AFOLs . Warmest thanks and all my love to the Team of builders who created this...

Re: the usual suspects of a small society

Thanks Ludzig. For a larger castle, you would need several beds for the Lords family [E.G. Baron , Sheriff etcet. ,important guests but not many, I think. Specialty types such as bards, priests, others again wouldn't need beds and often just visit for a short period. Horses need a stable but some co...

Re: LCC General Information and FAQ

General observations for a new [senior] AFOL. Simply, this is a great site and I love it. Yet it could be improved. Many coming here already have a basic grounding in LEGO and a heap of blocks. For others [my self included] , we arrive by accident, probably enticed by the incredibley wonderful MOC's...

Re: the usual suspects of a small society

Drat just lost all my post ! :twitch: I've researched this topic as I've had great difficulty in accommodating sufficient beds into my [small] castles. I've discovered that For around 75% of Middle Ages, all people either slept on the floor, on benches, or near the fire. Most on benches slept sittin...

Re: Ten years!

Hi Guys . Congratulations on ten years of Classic Castle activities. I joined this site about 2/12 months ago and have had many positive experiences . The staff admins and ordinary members have been supportive and helpful . :D I have much to learn yet and only a small amount of Lego. With this I can...
