Remyth; Yea, I gather. What say you break more of his Lego for him? Legofreak; You are Sooooo da Man!! Hey, I detest that! I'm living my second childhood! ;) Recluce; Glad you like the colour. You are right about what the colour embodies; afterall, it is the Plague Samurai! Regarding decal applicati...

g2; No prob! Always glad to be able to convert/re-convert others into the fun of splicing and dicing lego! I haven't had the misfortune to cut myself while customizing (yet), but this is due to the fact that I mostly use my trusty dremel and needle files; so not that much chance of cutting myself wi...

Flag is made of transparency, spray painted on one side, decalled on both. 4. Spliced from the really cool Lego Green Go...

Amazing. The armour are very well-sculpted; but the painting is extraordinary! Somehow, I prefer the "simpler", silver one (though). And those painted faces, I can never figure how you ever accomplish that. The uninitiated may want to take a look again on how small those head studs really ...

Cool colour combinations! They all really look like actual Lego castle minifigs.

Hats of (though), to "Turkey Knight". Put a big thanksgiving smile to my face. :)

Amazingly done! Of course, that's no surprise.

So good in fact, I think the pic needs a little more attention...

Sorry, couldn't help it.
(do let me know if you want the pic taken down)

Yea I really miss our jolly old fella too. Hope Freak's ok. I was just wondering, you mentioned that you recieved the decals in '05. Only till now have you put it on. I'm not 100% sure of this, but I beleive that time may have degraded the adhesives somewhat, giving your application a "less tha...

Nothing short of awesome, and this is WIP!
I really like the lanscaping thus far. The trees look a tad large, but if it's going to be followed by many smaller ones, it'll definitely be a treat to behold. Can't wait to see it with minifigs in place!

Thanks for the reviews, Bruce and guys, thanks for the compliments! The custom fig category had the most entries (I believe) and I'm sure it wasn't easy to grade.

A translation of the script on my custom can be found on this thread.

I've always had a fascination for all things chrome! THAT is definitely a beautiful knight! I believe the process for chroming plastic is called Vacuum Metalizing. It's a rather expensive process and only worth the cost if you are dealing in large quantites. I've actually wanted to try a chrome spra...

Fantastic job! I like the animated scenes too.

I just watched Pirates of the Caribbean and it is really amusing seeing yours after that (although pirates and vikings aren't too similar).

How bout having the ship pulled into the ocean depths after the kracken's done tossing the guys?

Awesome work on the armour, Amanda! And I just love that hammered effect you gave! Just a word of advice (if I may) for everyone else; Amanda is really good and experienced with sculpey, so although the tutorial looks relatively simple to do, effort and practice would be required to replicate that. ...

Nice! Only thing I feel would have improved the whole picture would be the flag; It's a tad large. Also, I think it would have looked better without the tape. If you wanted a "gloss effect", lamination sticker or pakaging tape (like what Recluce mentioned) may serve better. For the holes, ...
