A big thank you to the hosts/judges of this contest! Discovering I had won a category was a great way to start off this week
Congratulations to all the other category winners, and great work to all, as there were quite a few stellar entries.

Re: CCCXV - A Short Rest
Wow... This is so good! The circular base/floor is so amazing, and the rockwork is integrated perfectly as well. Outstanding work!

Re: Over Hill and Under Hill...
Awesome! I did a similar scene awhile back, but I really like how your scaffolding and bridgework are "natural" and flexible, if you know what I mean (platforms are curvy, rather than rigid). Great work with that! Hopefully, I'll remember to check back to see the rest of your Hobbit builds...

Re: Bjarn-dar Keep
Just noticed the brick-built arches here, really nice! I am curious as to how strongly they hold themselves. Great work on the rounded tower section jutting out - I am sure that was relatively tricky to do.

Awesome work John! As I mentioned previously, I really like those birch trees. The small details of patches of grass, insets in the stonework, and the bundles of supplies definitely help enhance the build as a whole.

Love the texture the jumper plates give to the wall. Great rockwork and scaffolding.

Great! The forced perspective is nice, as is using the mirror for the water reflection.

Re: MELO R3: Ithilien
Nice build! The rockwork is pretty neat, as is the landscape that grows over top of it. I wish there was a full shot of the build, complete with those neat brick-built oliphaunts (some more shots of those would have been nice as well). Without a full, complete shot of the build, it is hard to pictur...

Re: Contest Entry Thread: The Flag of your Kingdom
Here's my entry: Ishikawa Dojo As noted in my thread, this creation does have custom yellow leaves and horns for two of the minifigures. Whether or not this disqualifies this entry, that is up to the judges :) Here's the thread...

Ishikawa Dojo
This was built for the "Flag Your Kingdom" contest. The flag I chose was the less common, Samurai X flag from the Samurai X Cave Chaos set. I went with an oriental theme, since I assume that Japanese Samurai are considered a medieval kingdom of sorts. Thus, I built a dojo and some Samurai ...
