Re: Summer 2016 Ninjago sets

I was never a fan of Ninjago but when I saw the 70603 Raid Zeppelin yesterday in a local store I just had to get it: Properly weird steampunk! Once built the set has a few flimsy parts like the decoration at the side of the hu...

Re: Pirates 2015.. Thoughts

The 2015 Pirates sadly stayed well below their possibilities and I would be very surprised if there would be any new sets released. I rather think that it will discretly disappear from the shelves. Building-wise the sets are a bit too simple and too small if you compare them with other themes - like...

Re: CCC XIII Dracula Castle

Wow - this is indeed highly impressive! And what an innovative use of flippers - I wouldn't have thought of that in 100 years!

I also like how you alternate between stone and wood. That makes very interesting looking surfaces with a lot of life - even if the castle belongs to an undead

Re: Lander Training on Mars

The lander looks very good. Very techy and realistic, which I like a lot. Quite an harmonic build with an impressive amount of detail-work just at the right places!

Re: Collectible Minfigures Series 15

I wasn't impressed by the halloween series, but this one looks indeed pretty good again. Many classics here and I absolutely don't mind them reinterpreting some of the minifigs they released before. There simply can't be too many black(ish) knights

Re: Nexo Knights in 2016 - Official pics!

Funnily I got Lavaria and the Beastmaster too a few days ago. They indeed fit in quite nicely into fantasy and even star wars-themes and just look pretty d*mn cool, which is the reason I got them  The "good guys" on the other hand look too brightly coloured to me. Black and red just ...

Re: Help with Bricklink!

Many stores do Paypal, which is by itself safe and very fast. Just look if they take fees for that - and if your bank does of course!

Re: LEGO Ideas results - Birds and Big Bang

I think I like this set more than the series  It looks really good and indeed quite useful for implementing it in a town-set. Apart from that it will certainly find huge demand outside the usual Lego-buyer-group.

Re: MOC - BlueWater Castle

I only rarely see something where modesty is so misplaced than for this castle: its absolutely fantastic! :) The detailling and composition are highly impressive, it looks perfectly balanced and is simply a beauty. Also I dont really mind that its not more vegetation. Having some clearance around a ...

Fantastic scene! Gives you the perfect feel of a world-forgotten spot somewhere deep in the winterly woods. Makes you wonder what the story is behind it :)

Re: Red wizard's room

I instantly like his room! The red gives indeed very nice accents, the walls really gives your eyes something to explore and the overall composition fits very nicely. A build as it could exist in Skyrim - very nice! :)
