I was always wondering why swords seemed like cheap junk after I got back into LEGO a few years ago. I suppose they aren't ever going to change the swords back to ABS...

8777 seems a bit overpriced. I would think it should be in the $4-$7 range, not $9. That is crazy. The old minifig packs were $5 or $6 and you would get 5 guys and a horse. Now for $9, you only get 2 guys, a horse, and a tiny catapult? Not to mention that the knights have really dumb visors and swor...

This set is excellent. I wish I was fortunate enough to have one or two of these. I think this set pushes the creativity and utility of the basic brick as far as LEGO has ever pushed it. Despite the blocky horses being pretty bad, the barding and tent designs made from bricks is wonderful, and it ha...

I always put the "chinstrap helmet" on the archers. Personally, I always called it the bullet helmet. I liked that on archers because it wasn't as bulky and seemed as if it would not get in the way much when aiming and firing a bow.

Well, this is more like a clarification than a revision, isn't it?

Posting a link to publicly available information is not a leak, it is just helping other people find the information. That's what I had assumed anyway, so I'm glad the "revision" matches how I had been behaving.

Congratulations to everybody who won or got an honorable mention. There were some incredible entries.

Anyway, when is CCC II? Is it a yearly thing... or maybe something you do every 6 months... 4 months... 3 months...?

I have 1 black sword, 2 grey chests, and at least 2 pitchforks. I don't know exactly how many pitchforks I have, but I would guess it is around 4 or 5.

As usual, whenever I post something, somebody else posts it and says "I don't know if this has been posted before..."

Anyway, the new swords, visors, and set designs suck. Everything else is okay, but I'll be waiting for sales before I buy.

Holy bleep! Where were these pictures taken? The pictures were taken at a toy fair. There were also pictures of a bunch of other things like Harry Potter, Ferrari, Designer, Technic, etc. Anyway, one thing I noticed is that the packaging is actually very attractive. I believe these new sets could b...

A few comments on the official pictures. In 8777 and 8778, I like the look of blue knight with the grey helmet and white visor much more than I like the look of the knights in the non-prototype pictures we've seen. The new visor helmets the real sets look bulky and dumb. I also don't like the two-co...

Excellent set. The I also have the Red Baron and Wright Flyer and they were all great, but I think I like the Wright Flyer the least of the three.

I saw Sopwith Camels on clearance at Target for $35 last January, so I guess it wasn't a retail success. I wish I had picked up another for parts though.

Hello! 6060 can't be a legend because people outside the US don't even know it. But then again... 6390 also became a Legend although people outside the US didn't even know it. How does that matter? Guarded Inn was never officially available in the US except through S@H, and that became a Legend.
