[GFX] Decals: shield, flag torso

I made some decals to restore some parts and minifigs. Print with laser color on a good paper (90g), cut with exacto and stick with solvant free transparent glue. I put here my graphic ressouces (PNG 300 dpi) : http://lego.patatoide.com/Castle-stickers/ Some patterns comes from here (and rework) : h...

Castle color swap

It's not prodigious, but just for curiosity of what these original castles would have looked like, if the architect had been commissioned by another faction. 6085 Black Monarch, but Black Falcons : [img]https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52575950965_73cfb3af8c.jpg[/im...

Re: 'Retro Style' Castle MOCs.

Came across it on rebrickable, came here to see if it was posted. This is the way. I agree with many of the opinions already expressed. There are plenty of impressive MOCs, but dumping a bucket of bricks to build a wall... That's not how I saw things when I looked at the catalog at the time. Beyond ...

Re: Storage boxes by origami (free / without plastic)

Thanks for the info - I've thought about subdividing (...) If needed, here is a template to make rectangular boxes : http://classic-castle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=233883#p233883 The principle is the same, even if it is not a traditional origami. You will have to glue the 4 tabs in the bottom, or ...

Re: Holiday Minifig Exhange - 2021

I would love to participate, but my spares parts are really poor right now... I must have 3 beheaded and half sanded castle minigs. I was hoping to find a good idea and something to do a little construction with instead, and time flew. International is fine for me (I am in France), and I am ready to...

Re: Great Wall of Batuhan

I think the map is a bit strange (compared to a IRL design, but nice in Lego). The Eastern Gate that directly faces the forest, and the path along the wall, making a detour to the tower to take the bridge... Unless it is a hidden door (but decorated with flags). My opinion is quite conventional. In ...

Re: Lego Moc update!

Sometimes I wonder why I post here. Nobody except Bruce says anything about my Mocs. I know the feeling. Sometimes I think publishing something on the Internet is like throwing a bottle into the sea. I learned a lot of things by browsing vintage websites (mostly about programming). I have returned ...

Re: CCC 19 - The Question Thread

The thing is...a huge entry does not guarantee a win in any category. A small build, that meets the 3 judging criteria, can take down any giant that doesn't. For my part, it was not the intention to build huge/giant, but rather to have a means of presentation (produce an image). Secondly, to have a...

Re: CCC 19 - The Question Thread

Does "photos" mean to present real constructions? Can we present a creation by rendering (with Stud.io for example)? And if not, can it be accepted if the construction takes into account stability and feasibility? My main concern, would be the lack of bricks/elements, and especially the fa...

Re: Brickscalibur "The New Annual Winter Castle Contest" & C

To anotherParrot, at the high water mark the CCC attracted around 100 builders who made around 400 MOCs. Last year we had around 40 or so people build 94 MOCs. Thank you for this clarification. In this order, it seems reasonable to me. I'll be happy to contribute my hosting if necessary. I don't us...
