Overall, Lego bricks are quite tough, and won't break easily. This could be put down to a good quality of plastic; so, if you're careful, you won't have many broken parts. But we all make mistakes. :wink:

Lego was good in the its mid-life, with themes like black knights, dragon masters and royal knights.
To start with, Lego was developing, and then it began degrading. All the themes we love most came in the 'golden age'.

The best of those is the Night Lord's castle, for its sheer size, amount of details and the uniqueness of minifigs. However, it doesn't have as many minifigs as one would like it to have, or as many as a castle this size would need. Second choice would be the forest castle, as it is very interesting...
