Re: Second Chance for the Ideas Viking Village
I voted for the sea life, but I'll consider buying the viking village. The golf course certainly looked cool but I'd never have bought it.

Re: Forestman GWP set
I purchased a third 3-in-1 castle and five build-a-minifigure three-packs for the hideout. They added some very good new Castle-oriented parts to the minifigure towers to coincide with this GWP. I wish I could get to the store more often to check out the BAM assortment... And convince my wife that ...

Re: 10305 Lion Knight's castle.
My wallet is going to hurt and my wife might leave me... But the big problem for me is how to use it. I don't want something like this to just be a parts pack, but my Castle World already has a lion knights castle and I'm not replacing it. So then what faction do I reflag this castle for? Also how w...

Re: Lego new farm sets!
There's been Lego poo for a while. I think it first appeared as some reddish brown 1x1 round plates. Then the brown swirl which came at least as early as the Collectible Minifig dog walker with the dachshund. We need a history of Lego poo and loos... (potties in Scala and Duplo predated the first Sy...

Re: Forestman GWP set
Yep, ordered a Ninjago set and some standard pick a brick. Overshot the $150 but I didn't see any $70 sets I wanted ($83 in pick a brick).

Re: Lego new farm sets!
I hope so too, apparently the set is $70... At that price point per piece, it may be more cost effective to purchase just the animals. Or maybe not, the animals all seem to be at least a dollar on PaB.jtooker wrote:I'm excited for the animals too. Hopefully they'll be on the online PaB soon.

Re: 90th anniversary set (No, not that one)
Oh, that looks like a fun set. I wonder if it comes with a 90 year anniversary tile like the 40th anniversary of the brick sets did. It doesn't look like it. But cool all the micro sets it builds.

Re: A new faction/sigil for Castle fans?
I'd prefer to flesh out existing factions rather than trotting out sparse new factions all the time. I'm happy that you're happy though On the one hand, I have that same feeling. On the other hand, actually each knight should have their own coat of arms so I actually welcome these onesies/twosies. ...

I love this too. This even wouldn't look too out of place on my layout since it doesn't have too much embellishment of the walls and the size is fine, though most of my castles are bigger.

Re: Bricklink Designer Program
The caslte is a nice one, for sure, but it had sold out before I had even gotten online to check. I likely wouldn't have bought it anyways. It sucks to be a Bionicle fan (I am one of those fans. Disappointed in the results, but not surprised at all.) Lego clearly has it out for Bionicle. I cannot r...

Re: Bricklink Designer Program
Too bad there isn't much really castle interesting for much less... I'm hoping they'll include some more factions in future creator castle sets (but as you said, I'm not getting my hopes up). It'd be very easy for them to reuse collectable minifigure torsos. I just wish the various purple and sand ...

Re: Bricklink Designer Program
The castle hit funding (3000 pre orders) in under 20 minutes and completely sold out (5000) in under an hour. Hey Lego, get the hint yet? Sold out in about 30 minutes... I doubt they will get the hint. As far as I can tell, they have no interest in having a castle line. They will occasionally throw...

Re: Medieval Blacksmith will be a LEGO Ideas set
How does it compare in size to 3739 Blacksmith Shop? I tried to scale it roughly, but kongutahu's link gives a nice 3D veiw. I've got a table of size (in studs) that I cannot copy here since the formatting doesn't allow tables. How differen...
