Well it's all over

I havesold off my entire lego collection. Planned on selling it all bit by bit but the first person to buy a set offered me a good price for the whole lot. It's been fun, but now I have more important things (to me) to spend my money on with 2 kids and a car I'm working on. Just like to give a speci...

Pondering lego life

Hi everyone, As you all may (or may have not) noticed I haven't been around a lot lately. New job, moving cities, smaller house have left me with little time or room for Lego. Sooo. (sigh) I have made the hard decision to sell off most of my collection when it arrives from storage in about a months ...

It's just something that popped into my head last night. Especially since the Skeleton Ship and soon the Dwarf Mining set are ONLY available in Australia through S@H.

It would be a bit of a punt but I figure if it doesn't work out I can build my black viking ship :D

Lego Investing

I was wondering how many of you purchase and keep sets MISB hoping the value will go up over time? I know older MISB sets are worth alot but most people didn't really have a clue back then that future demand would be so high (similar to Star Wars action figures). I've been thinking about getting an ...

Not a nice experience for you Anthony but just think "Imitation is the highest form of flattery" Imitation is the highest form of flattery, yes. I take great pride when I see someone write a LEGO story and say they saw mine and decided to follow suit. But there is a distinct difference be...

I didn't mind this line but I'd have to say this is one my least fav KKI sets. As Athos said the stained glass panel is to big, we get another king and the jousting mechanism is just weird.

As a carpenter by trade all I can say is those are some nice tables. Sure feels better making something than just buying it, you get what you want and you have only yourself to blame if you don't like it. :D

Your club actually makes the Troll look more "Lego like". That's the best compliment I can give :D

But I am let down by the "orc's" sword. I like the curved sword concept (after all Tolkien equated curved swords with evil), but these look too large and cartoony. It looks like something I would expect from Mega-bloks or another pretender to the Lego throne. Again, I need to hold one fir...

I do really like this set. I would say with all the figs, dragon and troll this would be the higher price point set. The viking torsos are okay buy those green arms can easily be put on the armor of your choice :D In a way I would have prefered a nice crown knights ship because with this as well as ...
