Re: Collectible Minifigures Series 11

My store got them in today. Seem to be everywhere in the UK now.

Still resisting- not planning on buying any.

Re: Is Cuusoo bad for the community?

If the Lego fan community would come together to support more non-licensed themes, and eschewed licensed ones, then I think we'd see a shift to more original themes being produced, because they would actually have a chance at succeeding. I think this can only carry so much weight though. The Wester...

Re: new gold "pieces" vs. old

I find it sacrilege that anyone prefers pearl gold over chrome cold- the former is an awful, cheap-looking colour and I really wish TLG would stop using it for parts. That said, I do like the gold-bar mould, so I don't think there's any harm in having a mixture of loot. Throw in some jewels and the ...

Re: Collectible Minifigures Series 11

I fondled one (series 11 packet, not t-shirt) but decided they'd be around for a while, and I had said I was stopping having completed series 10 only a few weeks ago... Personally I think the series are coming out too fast, and that's going to be reflected in the quality of the characters, and peop...

Re: Collectible Minifigures Series 11

These have been appearing out in the wild.

I've heard from a few people that they've been released in the UK, though I haven't seen any myself yet. Not that it matters- I still need to complete Wave 10.

Re: LCC - "The Coronation"

Are we allowed to form small escape parties of two/three or would this count as being too noticeable?

Lots of opportunity for cross-play if it is allowed! :eyebrows:

Re: Lands of Classic Castle - Discussion Thread

I think maybe having one main character, and having a secondary character that you could use while your main is "out-of-action" (being held prisoner by a power-hungry evil queen, anyone?) is a cool idea. Can't wait for the next GC! Gotta bust outta prison somehow. That's what i've done re...

Re: LCC - "The Coronation"

Now on another note, great addition to the story :) While it was a bit unexpected ( and I'm now wishing Rufus had declined the invitation ) I'm eagerly sitting on the edge of my seat, waiting for the release of GCV :D CCG I had excitement from seeing Lodi featured in the photos and attending to utt...

Re: Online Parts Draft - SIGN UP IS FULL

Here's all my draft picks and the loot I left with. Some great choices I think, and lots of mass elements to experiments with! Big thank-you to AK Brickster for running and orgasnising the whole thing, it was a great! :) http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5333/9517376232_a65a9471f1.jpg sidenote- I see no...

Re: Historical Qualifications - who has one?

I have a BA (Hons) in Humanities and Art History, and while that covered a vast period of time, the medieval period wasnt really touched on in depth. Lots of European romanticism/enlightenment in the 18th/19th centuries though! :)

Re: More Galaxy Squad

I've just started collecting, and so far I love the sets. I can't share the same desire for a "base" however- in recent years TLG haven't been too good at producing them, as Atlantis/Chima/Ninjagogogog shows I think. I would love more sets all the same though- it'd be a shame if the theme ...

Re: Simpsons theme in 2014

I have no interest in new Simpsons (or for that matter, any newer season than the last fifteen years) and, more worringly, like Bruce asked a few weeks ago, i'm not sure anyone else is either, so definitely a bizarre licensed pick-up, probably the strangest yet. I'm not excited, but, if the Simpson ...
