Re: Market day at the Kings Castle

Very nice! The outer walls have nice features in them. I like the colors and composition of the MOC. Good work! Keep it up!

Blue Moon Knight wrote: Also, just on a side note (to soothe the OCD in me), not all of these are "barrels." I believe the smaller ones are firkens (used for storing wine); then there also casks (for ale); and kegs (for beer).

Thanks for putting up with that.
Lovely, thank you. I love that! ;)

Re: BC Entry : the siege

Very nice. I like how it is composed and there are lots of interesting details in it. I like the orcs crossing the river and those climbing the wall are awesome. I agree that the archers were positioned well and that they have a good pose. The defense on the wall seem good and i like the fact that n...

In Subterraniaa shenanigans I Scream Stone uses a technique that could be used for yet another barrels version.

Re: My first space MOC - The Stinger

Thank you very much. I am quite pleased with the result. You are right about the messiness of the sting. I didn't have the parts i needed for it. Thank you btw for the input. :) Frankly I didn't have the pieces I needed in the right colors to make the sting bendable. So i had to compromize (but that...

My first space MOC - The Stinger

My first space MOC. The Stinger is a space/air to ground attack vessel that is used in tactical assault on intrastructure. The bottom-rear mounted laser cannon, "The Sting", is used to cut open buildings, space stations and infrastructure but is also used in combat. The Stinger can stand s...

In what state are you most creative to build new LEGO MOCs

I find myself artistically createve if i am slightly down. Hmm. I no not know why. But if i am a bit sad i tend to grab a pencil and start to draw something. And yesterday i was a little down but got a great new idea for a space-ship after seeing some bricks i had thought were "useless" (a...

While many believe that folding makes the blades "sharper", it is not true. It is as Heir of Black Falcon said to remove impurities in "bad" steel and to make it even. If you would use industrial steel of today, that would be unnecessary. However. It was also used for decoration....

I guess that could be useful for quick reference, even though I recommend going to the sources for those who have a deeper interest. Yes i totally agree. What i meant was that if you are reading something and would like to look up details that you have read but don't have time to find where, it com...

Hi there again. I descided to do the cheap way of sorting. We have children, so milk is frequently drunk. When each box is empty, i clean it and cut it to the appropriate height. They are 7 cm wide here in Finland (not the children). I made a shelf where to put them. However they are not transparent...

The Encyclopedia of Arda (the world of Tolkien)

Hi, i have found this site, http://www.glyphweb.com/arda/ very useful when reading the different works of Tolkkien. I remember the first time I read Silmarillion (how the world came to be and it's history), i had difficulties remembering who was what and when this and that occurred. Also, when readi...

Did you find any goodies there? Hope they release some nice sets before you head off to Finland again.

I have started to think that PAB is just a myth. Even if you travel to the other side of the world and still can't find one...

Perhaps sirJakob that we need to visit Billund this summer ;)
