Re: Colossal Castle Contest 15

Couple of questions: Is micro-scale only allowed in the miscellaneous categories and Micro Siege? 1. The other categories should be minifig scale. You can however use microscale as a forced perspective background in a minifig scale entry. For the Video Game Castle category, do you need to build an ...

Re: Collecting vintage misb castle sets

Hi Sim, I am fairly certain that 6067 only came in the European style box without a piece count and in the Samsonite Canada version. It is my understanding that this set was mainly sold in the US from Shop at Home and limited retail outlets. Other sets like 6011, 6023, and 6055 likely also only have...

Re: Island Outpost

This is a nice little moc. I like the blue tile roof, wall texture, dock, water, 1x3 tile stairs, angled jail, and door handles. I have also used the yellowed bricks as accents for pirate fort walls. The technique works well. Thanks for sharing.

Your moc has many great details. I like the bridge above the waterfall, the grill brick stairs, and microscale fall trees using the spikes and hair pieces. Thanks for sharing.

Re: The Summer Joust 2017 : The Small Streets Of Dathach

Thank you for sharing. I like many of the details including the arched roof cut out in back, the sheathing under the roof shingles, and how the foundation extends into the ground. My only recommendation would be to add a stone, tile, or wood plank floor on the interior lowest level. If the builders ...

Nelson,

Your castle has a nice retro style. I see the club's 2x4 green brick was put to good use.

Re: Dungeon Master Idea Hits Full Support in 3 Weeks

My initial thought is this ideas entry is too similar to Minecraft sets. LEGO probably would not want a new product which competes against a brand they are already selling.

Re: LEGO Advanced Dugeons & Dragons sets

Dungeons and Dragons would probably work best as a LEGO Ideas set. Personally I prefer in house designed themes over licensed themes. The licensed lines do add quite a bit in terms of new elements, colors, fig design, etc which TLG used to add to their in house themes in the 1980's and 1990's.

Re: Colossal Castle Contest 14

Btw, are not-minifig-scale things allowed in all categories (micro or, which is what I am particularly interest in; larger then minifig)? I recall the rules on scales were a little specific last year? And I'm assuming that the custom knight and squire category has got to be minifig. The admins will...
