My opinion:

6090
Pros: It is Lego!
Cons: It is Royal Knights. (I really don't like Royal Knight's cartoon lion).

6086
Pros: Yellow tudor panels, figs, armour
Cons: Raised baseplate.

6085
Pros: Corner pieces, best figs
Cons: No armour

I would spend my money on 8085!

I'm surprised no one mentioned the Royal Knights figures. They are easily my least favorite line of figs. The lion standard looks like something from kindergarten: http://www.bricklink.com/ML/cas066.jpg I'll take Willa or Jayko any day over the Royal Knights. Oh, and for everyone that says "I l...

Builder's Log: Day 10.5.3.7.2.1 - End of Lunch Break I looked at my dwindling supply of light grey last night, and had a horrible thought that I might not finish. I sat down this morning and calculated a better number of the amount of bricks I'd need to finish the castle. To complete the outer curt...

I've actually made this formation with the oval shields and it looked great. I'll see if I can take a digital photo. I had the front row "kneeling", (sitting with the legs turned backwards). Then I had the back row standing directly behind the row that was kneeling. Then I had two more sim...

At $50 that's a tough call. I'll buy at least one for the cool carrying case, but I might stick to Bricklink if I want more figs. If the pawn's helmets and crossbows were dark grey and brown I would buy more for sure. I would also have liked to see a different torso for the pawns. Still, it's exciti...

S&H gives a bulk discount? No, but if you are patient you can usually find sales at places like Etoys, Amazon.com, toysrus.com, etc.... Use the super cool Internet Price Guide at fbtb.net to see where the sales are. It only shows Star Wars sets, but usually if a Star Wars set is on sale, other ...

Now, the question is, when these hit USA Amazon, do I buy them now, or wait for them to hit S@H and get the bulk discount? Wait for the discount. They'll be 15-20% off after a couple of months, and eventually a few of them will hit 30-40% off.... If you can't wait, then that's fine. I'll hav...

Very nice. I need to get more tan bricks. I'd love to build a persian castle in this color.... He did a great job with this. I can picture it along the coast on some rocky bluff.

Can anyone make out what is on the baby blue pawn's torso?

I'm not too thrilled about the baby blue color in general, so I'm not sure I would want tons of figs in that color.... Anyone want to split this with me? I'll take the black figs. :)

As a Boilermaker, (Class of 97), I really shouldn't compliment any piece of work made by a Nittany Lion. This is just too nice to not say something. I agree that the outside of the building could use some bushes or trees, but the despite that the outside looks great! I really like the use of ...

I live in the Bay Area. I'm surrounded by many, many Toys R' Us, Target, WalMart, KB Toys, etc., etc..... I purchase all of my Lego online. The selection at the stores is typically bad, and the product is off the shelves too quickly for me to react when there is a sale. So, why drive 4 hours? Just o...
